My daughter (Indianette) got a pic this morning from a friend of Pt Neches park and it showed the water already beginning to cover the parking lot. Does anyone else have pics or can give any info of whats going on in Pt. Neches/Groves?

I always hate to predict the game between PNG and Nederaland, because no matter how each teams season is shaping up, this game is always unpredictable it seems. I will say, that after the comeback Saturday night with Crosby, I'm feeling very good about PNG. There's a good mix on the plays and Tatum is airing out the ball more with receptions. This week, against Texas City, will be a test. Whether PNG wins or loses, its going to be a good experience...one that will help us correct mistakes and continue on to perfection. I will say this....PNG players have a LOT of heart this year...more than I have seen over the past few years. Also, the fans had more excitement than I have seen in a loooong time and we filled Crosby's stadium. It's going to be an exciting year!

Going to be an interesting game, that is, if we get to play. Will ALWAYS root for the Indians!

I'm curious about that too, how much rain we will get. Accuweather just said the high pressure is not weakening, so that means Ike would most likely make landfall between Corpus and Brownsville.

The Indian Fans were out in force tonight! GREAT Game! I think everyone will be hoarse in the morning! Way to go, PNG!!! Scalp 'em, NDN's!

I didn't really start posting until this year, and man, talk about working on the ol blood pressure! lol.....seriously, Dayton is the real thing and if you leave our district, you have DEFINITELY left an imprint. I have to say, that the Bronco stadium is the best I've seen in a long while for a high school stadium, with excellent lighting. The Reservation, will still be the same, only with a brand new stadium .....I can't wait. The HONOR, PRIDE, and TRADITION that the PNG Indians have doesn't come down to architectural structure, but yet, what thrives in the hearts of PNG fans and players. If you have never been to a PNG game, you definitely need to go to one.....like someone said, Cherokee just has a way of "hangin" around in your mind for a few days after playing PNG. I can't imagine a game where there are less than a 100 fans for the opposing team. It surprises me that the Houston area doesn't have that much fan support with all the people there. If Dayton leaves our district, just keep on keeping on. Hey, PNG may meet you in the playoffs...I know you will be there! This has been a great year for posting, but its not over yet....we still have Dayton in the playoffs and ALL of Southeast Texas is behind you ! Go Broncos !
