I do agree with you that this "list" thing is becoming redundant. But, my question, is, how do you know who PNG wants for a HC? I'm curious. Reliable sources? Talked to the applicant? Any facts you can share? This might put an end to these threads if you can give some credence to the subject.

If they keep "sweetening" the pot? And the guy may know what he is doing.... So, let me try and understand this. It seems as if, folks on here already "know" who the new coach will be, but these same folks are crying for the list to be released. Will some of you "informed" folks let us PNG fans know who our new HC/AD will be? Oh, and btw, please give us a run down on his salary as well. ???

Coop, I have a LOT of respect for you on this board, and the insight that you give, alot! However, give me justification for this. Oh, I know, its the law, whatever. I don't see any congitive conclusion for releasing this list other than scrutiny by others. Am I correct? Please answer.

Why is is SOOOOO important to you? What factor will you have in the final decision? Just another news story maybe. Be patient.....we will have the BEST man for the job and then, you and the media can attack and scrutinize him. This is getting ridiculous!

It won't matter. This is the PNG Boards decision, not the media. The media will not have any controlling factor in their decision, unlike this past Presidential election. You guys will have to wait, and I know, from the looks of things, its killing you. ;D ;D ;D

Is not accurate since the posters on this board are not ALL from PNG. This would ONLY be logical if everyone in southeast texas voted for the PNGISD board. Again, you don't see but a couple of folks from PNG wanting the list released....the ones getting the most upset are not in our district at all. I think the board is doing the right thing in making the media and those others out there with demands of releasing the list, sweat! The list will be released in due time.

aidfan94, probably the latter. I find it really something, that since I defend PNGISD's Boards decision, which affects me and my support of the Indians, that my Karma ratings continue to decline. Now, I commend everyone for supporting their respective school districts, but I feel so much hostility on this board now because of my defense of PNG. This thing is waaaaaayyyy overblown. What does it matter anyway. Not a dang one of you can do anything about the final decision in deciding who the new coach is anyway. It seems to me that many of you just want something else to rip to pieces.......it just doesnt make any sense!

Producing the list will prove NOTHING! All it will do is give those folks outside of PNG the chance to either praise or bash the applicants.......nothing more than to satify their desire for scrutiny. You don't see folks from PNG on here saying to release the list....its everyone else. Producing the list proves nothing, absolutely nothing!

I have an idea, why not make the PNG search for a new coach a mini-series, since there are so MANY people that find this drama intriguing. Could help some of the local tv stations ratings! We could make it a reality show with all these hot shots on the board as stars. Lets see, how bout "Survivor: The PNG Coaching Decision". You guys have got to give this a rest!
