I think his reputation precedes him as an OC, the BEST in his region. And, he has some very well known, successful coaches at his fingertips if he needs advice, consultation, etc. I think it is GREAT that he is already at The Reservation, implementing plans, setting goals, motivating, and getting to know the kids, staff, and PNG community. Its been a long while since I've seen PNG this excited about a HC and I know he will have all the support and then some from the district and community. Coach Faircloth will set the precedent and will have the support he needs to find his groove and lead PNG back to the powerhouse it once was. I commend our school board for standing their ground on the HC/AD requirements and giving Brandon Faircloth this chance. Honor....Pride....Tradition....thats what PNG is all about!

When you look at the resume he was the best candidate for the tax payers money. This guy is going to be good for us. I totally agree with you, pngfan1 ! Faircloth was the best man for the job.

From PNG forum, a poster made the following comments: My son was fired up from the first speech by Coach Faircloth. He has already changed the attitudes of the boys. He told them his offense is very confusing for the other team but it is proven and works. He told the only sport he likes is football then next is spring football. I've heard this from several parents and players alike. Faircloth is going to be good for PNG. I look for it to be an exciting year at The Reservation!

Everyone at PNG is excited about Coach Faircloth. We know he will change our entire program for the better. I think we, the PNG faithful, will continue to be surprised and amazed at his leadership in developing our program....exciting things are happening at The Reservation! ;D

I think if Central stays with the same system they had last year that Stowers implemented, they will be ok. If their new HC comes in with his own scheme of things that is contrary to what the players are accustomed too, then who knows. Whatever happens, BEST OF LUCK to the Jags this year!

I WENT TO A ALEDO FOOTBALL GAME DURING HURRICANE IKE AND TALK ABOUT A TOP NOTCH PROGRAM AND FACILITIES.I HAVE RELATIVES THAT WORK FOR ALEDO SCHOOL DISTRICT AND WHEN ASKED ABOUT JOE DALE CAREY THEY COULD NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM AND HIS FAMILY.LOOKS LIKE PN-G IS BRINGING IN A NEW GENERATION OF COACHES TO THE AREA.THINGS ARE CHANGING AT THE RESERVATION. ;D They definitely are! High caliber coaches at PNG......man, this is excitin!

I like the idea that Coach Faircloth stated that he wants to incorporate his style of play all the way to the middle school. This is exciting! He's looking to rebuild the COMPLETE program at PNG......have the kids learn the plays early, so when they get to varsity, thier skills can be fine tuned. I like his 50-50 style of play, 50% running the ball, 50% passing. I think he'll be able to bring a good mix to PNG and its gonna be an exciting "change" for PNG fans to enjoy! Man, I can't wait ! I've heard people around the area say we may have a Spring "Fire Up" pep rally. Anyone else heard this? I think it would be a good idea! How many days until week 0? The NDN's are pumped!

Wow! This is GREAT! I like the fact that he wants his kids to go thru PNGISD and that he's not focused on Nederland until we meet on the field...one game at a time! He was not suppose to start until March 2, but has decided to start next week! GREAT !!!!! I like this guy....he's just what PNG needed!!!! Very good timeframe! Gonna be tough to keep a honeymoon alive when you drop your first 4 years straight to big ned.... ;D ;) on a more serious note, I hope the guy comes in and does a great job, if not, I'd say the honeymoon lasts about as long as the PNG scoreboard stays on after a Nederland win....not long ;D ;D I have a feeling the PNG scoreboard at The Reservation this year, will be on for a looooonnnnnnngggg time after the game as the NDN's send the dawgs back to their dogpound! ;D Gotta love MCM!!!

Coach Crouch will be good for LCM. Best of luck to him and the Bears this year! A lot of talent at LCM, great community support, sounds like a "win-win" situation.

I think the PNG "faithful" will be patient and understanding of Coach Faircloth.....its been a very, very long time since we have had excitement and looked this forward to even off season. Coach Faircloth has already won the hearts of many NDN fans and I feel we will be there with much support. That being said, it will be others, outside of our district, that will be so critical and will be waiting for Coach Faircloth to fail. I hate to say it, but thats how it is. I've already read negative posts on here concerning him before he is even here. Could it be fear, jealousy, who knows. Wheneve a new coach comes to town, whether it be PNG, LCM, Central, whoever, we as 20-4a should come together as a district and make them feel welcome and support them in their endeavors. I know this is an opinion board and EVERYONE has one, including myself, but I think we need to lay off the coaches, let them do the best job they can, and be supportive. As far as the "honeymoon", it will last...just like in a marriage, as long as the communication is there, and the fire is continually flamed, it will last.....PNG...........Honor.............Pride.............Tradition......"Priceless" !
