I've been away for awhile and was interested in seeing what "55" was saying about the Bobcats' season.  I see that he's finally gone past delusional and is in some state of DENIAL now.  Keep a stiff upper lip is what the British would say - and I have NO IDEA what that means  Hang in there Bobcats.

Sometime Life grabs us off of our "High Horse" and makes us pay attention to the life that goes on around us.  Condolences to the family and prayers to all concerned.

I'm in Silsbee and must say that I am impressed with the Hawks' football program progress and success this season.  That said, I was raised in an area near Bellville and am somewhat familiar with their football program.  Those guys wear helmets because the rules insist that they wear them - otherwise they will take ANYBODY on without them.  Careful on your hype on this one Hawks fans.  And whatever the outcome, I say well done to you and your coaches and congratulations

on your season this year.

Thank you, Bedelmon, for a straight forward answer.  Wishing the Hawks FOOTBALL success this season.  Basketball and other sports . . . not so much. :)

What a large helping of crapp that is from the Reverend Matthew Lynch who apparently is a reverend of the same denomination as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.  If ANY of the points that he tries to make were wholly true he might have some credibility.  I seriously doubt that history will treat Obama as kindly and highly as The Reverend Lynch.

"Potential starters" were while the scrimmage was going on.  Not looking for names, not trying to embarrass any player, don't have an agenda here.  Does anyone from the hawk territory know where they were?

Oh!  So you don't know where 18% of your Potential starters" were.  Did they suit out for the scrimmage?

I can't speak for JFF but I'm pretty certain that the Browns weren't where he would like to have gone.  But . . . when you are once considered to be a top 5 draft choice and you are selected 22nd, that Cleveland call was probably welcomed.  He will grow up and he will do it quickly.  His style of play though, concerns me - the reckless running I mean.

Well, surely Ferguson, Missouri is resting easier this evening.  Why, because the big three of "Racial Do Nothings Except Show Up To Stir Up" - that would be Sharpton, Jackson and Holder - are all on the scene.  Holder was late getting there because he had more "Do Nothing" to do than Sharpton and Jackson.  I wish good fortune to the citizens of Ferguson.

Except for your son, whom we know is recuperating from surgery (and we all wish him the best and hope that he's on that recovery track)where were the other 5?
