If you want to see two of the top QBs in 3A then this is the one to go see.  Both QBs have 2000+ passing yards with impressive completion %.  
 

Columbus sophomore QB, 6’4” Adam Schobel is the son of Columbus HC/AD, and former NFL tight end, Matt Schobel.  Diboll’s secondary will be tested by the Columbus passing game.  If Diboll wants to keep this one close, they’ll need to force some punts and keep the Columbus O off the field.  Will be the toughest game since Franklin

Diboll wasn’t expecting a cake walk at all. Buna is a good football team with an average loss margin of 8 points (one possession). Their RB and #7 were impressive. Buna fought hard and gave themselves a chance to win the game despite being out gained 404 to 287 in total yards. 

I agree, their record was very misleading having played close several .500 or above teams.  

Good win Trojans! Those kids never gave up.  Diboll had their opportunities to go ahead but couldn’t capitalize.  All credit to Coldspring, their kids looked ready to play from the start.  A bit of a rivalry between Diboll and Coldspring

The passing game will probably one of the best Diboll has seen in a long time.  Harris has a good arm and seems to be smart with his decisions and throws.  The run game is starting to catch up.  Stats from Friday I believe were 250/250 run/pass yardage

Wish this game was set for the final district game as both teams are considered favorites to win district but here we go.  One common opponent in Franklin, maybe the Franklin fan can fill us in on this matchup on what to expect

I missed it too. Last year Madisonville beat Diboll easily but Diboll played good football aster that. I thought Diboll would beat them. 

If there’s something I’ve learned the past couple of seasons is Diboll will have a couple head scratcher losses early on but then fix or work on the glaring weaknesses.  They try to build on every week and try to peak when it counts, district and beyond.  Now to be real they had a rough game vs Madisonville.  Looked like they’re missing a couple key starters one bring their starting QB.

Due to potential weather issues, this game was played yesterday.  Diboll won 10-1

Diboll wins 4-0 over Huntington.  Diboll moved to 23-1.  Diboll has allowed 21 runs total this season with 12 shutouts

Diboll moves to 16-1 after defeating #7 4a Hudson.  Diboll dropped a game vs 4a Carthage last week for first loss of season 4-3 in 8 innings

Champs! Great weekend for the boys as they get ready for district. Going 4-0 beating 3 ranked teams and winning the championship 5-0 over no. 13 4A Godley. That making us 15-0 on the season.
