meh! i got so disgusted with it this year that i just kinda quit paying attention. i will say that ya'll at the top kicked the crap out me. well played, sir.

It will either be PNG outright, or PNG and dayton share it. If dayton doesn't beat PNG, nobody will. If dayton does manage to beat PNG, then i believe they will be 3-0 the last three weeks and tie PNG at 6-1.

As an HJ fan, i'm going to be the first to say that it doesn't matter. Silsbee by at least 35, at silsbee, at HJ, in the HEB parking lot, it doesn't matter. HJ can't compete with silsbee in football this year.

What exactly are you doing on here? We're talking about whether or not it would've been a good idea for PNG to try to score again to solidify their playoff chances in the off-chance that they end up with two losses. Nobody is talking bad about anyone, we're merely discussing something. You come on here and start spewing your ignorance, talking about class and respect while doing your best to insult all of us involved in the discussion. We're on here because we're fans. We're fans because we grew up playing the sport, or are supporting our school. So what are you doing, besides proving that you have nothing noteworthy to say? What have you done that makes you such an expert? It's obvious that you know nothing of class or respect.

i was trying to figure up the scenarios in my head, and i got dizzy. i was going to list them, but i was afraid that i might get carpal tunnel. what it all boils down to is that we're in for an exciting three weeks of football, and every game is a must-win for the top four in the district.

if you had made this statement three weeks ago, i would've thought you were on crack, but now it's a very real possibility. i'm not entirely ready to send dayton to the playoffs just yet, seeing as they finish up with central, png, AND nederland. if they can finish up 3-0 in those games, then they've certainly earned their spot in the playoffs.

it sounds like you're trying to start something. if something crazy happens and png doesn't go to the playoffs, they might look back at that opportunity to score and wish that they had. he merely pointed out that a lot of people would've not understood and been pissed off if png had tried to score.

you're right... it wouldn't have come from those who understand the tiebreaker rules, but to the average joe this would've seemed like ya'll were just running it up.

it's only fitting that game 7 of this series is a close one.

it's going to be difficult to stop them... they have a fantastic team. 7-0 buna should be a good challenge, as they're a very confident team. If EC gets past buna, they still have to deal with 7-1 hardin and 5-2 kountze. both of those teams are good enough to beat anyone in district on any friday. It's going to be tough to stop East Chambers, but it might be tough for EC to make it the last three weeks of district without one loss.

looks fairly good, but nederland should be ahead of lumberton. They have identical records, and both of their losses came to the same team. If you look at the two teams' overall bodies of work, nederland has played a tougher schedule. until they play head to head, or unless nederland picks up another loss before then, they should be ahead of l-town. I'm not trying to take anything away from lumberton, they have a great team. i'm just saying that nederland's 6-1 has been more difficult to come by than lumberton's 6-1.

I'm getting kind of sick of the whole steroids issue... MLB has a good system in place now to punish those who are caught using, and i'm fine with that. I'm not fine with all of this going back and punishing players who were using in the past (or making them give up other players to avoid punishment). there were A LOT of players using 5 years ago, 4 years ago, 3 years ago, and it doesn't make sense to me to punish the few that are ratted out. also, the whole congressional witchhunt is pretty rediculous. baseball is a game where players do not rat out other players, and making them do so is bad for the player, and the game. everyone knows the consequences now, but why punish a player who has straightened up and is now following all the rules. if there are rumors that someone used a corked bat five years ago, should we suspend that player now?
