horns are going to trail at the half for the 7th time in 8 games.

horns on a decent run to close within 10, and holding for the last shot of the half.

now 30-14, 22-0 run.  the horns suck now.  it's inexplicable.  i have no idea how they beat pittsburgh and michigan st earlier in the year.

Jayhawks up 25-14, on a 17-0 run.  i'm starting to think the horns play better when i don't watch them.

Hamilton and J Brown are have alternated bad shots the last 5 trips down the floor.  Texas still hasn't scored since yesterday, now trailing 20-14, and KU going to the line for 2.

Texas hasn't scored in about 5 minutes... down 18-14.  look great on defense, but offense is sputtering.

Texas up 14-11 at the second media timeout.  their defense is fantastic, but their offense has stalled the last few possessions.

early on this is looking like the horns team that was beating so many good programs.  up 14-8, outplaying KU on both ends of the floor.  KU timeout.

getting it now, horns up 10-8 at the media timeout.  looking pretty good, James with two trays, might be looking to do some carrying tonight.

looks like i'll be watching this one on espn360.  i love dish network, but it's not worth a crap during a heavy thunderstorm.

they're good enough to win, but not if they miss 25 freethrows.

especially if it comes down to freethrows.

awful.  freethrows the ONLY difference in the game.  if Texas shoots a paltry 66% from the line, they win.

J Brown played bad in the 1st half, and barely saw the floor the rest of the game.  Jordan Hamilton's 2nd half performance made J Brown's 1st half look good, but he played almost the entire second half, missing shots and turning the ball over. 

Texas misses, gets fouled (even the announcers saw it), no call, OU rebounds and gets fouled.

James forces a shot after a Texas steal, OU up five, going to the line for 2.  1:14 left, Texas 10-27 from the line.

given away 7 points at the line in the last 2 minutes, now down 8.

horns deserve to lose.  9-26 from the line.

James 1-5 from the line in 3 trips.  a chance to cut the lead to 3, instead it's 7.  this is really frustrating.  Texas has absolutely dominated the 2nd half, but can't take advantage of free points.

Texas down 7, and 9-22 from the freethrow line.  terrible.

OU leads 65-56 going into the media timeout.  Horns wasting lots of chances, but still the much better team this half.  had they not been terrible, combined with incredible shooting in the 1st half, this is a game they should be leading by 20.  hopefully they can come back and get the win, but time's running out.
