Love it. Great to see the defense coming together

Bringing this back up to the top because some folks seem to be a little sore about being told that they can't abuse their coaches without consequences. Use common sense, folks. We're all adults. It's really not difficult to voice your disapproval of a coach's decisions without insulting or bashing him. Bashing and criticism are not the same thing. "I don't like his gameplan" and "this guy is a moron" are not the same thing. Nobody is going to kick you off of the site for saying something critical, but you have to figure out a way to be tactful and respectful. If you can't, as we've said before, save those comments for the facebook community watch page or something.

I did a whole post about this many years ago (gonna see if I can find it and bump it to the top), but it's really not difficult to state an opinion without violating our rules, even when the opinion is about a coach or his coaching. but if you don't trust yourself to be able to stay within the rules, it's always best to err on the side of caution

Trump lost NY by 23% 2020 AND 2016. I wouldn't be totally shocked if it was 16-17% this go round, but anything under 15% would surprise the heck out of me.

I think it may be a little closer, but not THAT close. lots of republicans in the state don't bother voting because they know it doesn't matter. this last election showed them that it DOES matter again.

i don't care what they did one way or another, but he's saying the were up 20+ points in the 3rd quarter when they did this. Again, shouldn't matter, but Bridge city was up 30 at the 7:30 mark of the 3rd. They were not up 20-6 late third.

to be honest, I don't spend any time thinking about Epstein. With all of the crazy conspiracy theories swirling around I just prefer to focus my thoughts elsewhere. "Epstein didn't kill himself" will forever just be a funny punchline to me unless someone comes up with some real evidence of something.

I didn't watch any this year... still very boring from what I've seen in highlights, but I did see a lot of coverage on espn and on my facebook feed. Imagine someone becoming a coworker to you and immediately making the whole company more profitable. Now imagine that as a result of this you not only gained more job security, but would also make a lot more money in the future. NOW imagine that 2/3 of the people in the office treated the new coworker like crap because they were jealous that that new worker got more attention than them. That's the WNBA in a nutshell now.

I have no clue, but I do know that money (and the pursuit thereof) can make people pretty stupid sometimes.

Henderson was supposed to be one of the few easy games in that district. went 2-8 last year. This year they're 5-1 and somehow just upset Kilgore. you're right, that district is loaded.

my inlaws are in town and have talked about it for 10 days 🤦‍♂️. the idea that humans could create a hurricane, much less control it is beyond absurd.

Both teams have improved, but BC was quite a bit better than HJ last year, and the hawks have probably lost some ground from that point.

it's not that hard to express displeasure without breaking our rules. y'all had guys calling him an idiot, suggesting he had money on the game, talking about how terrible he is, etc. That's not gonna fly on here.

He’s there, but he’s hurt. I’ve heard different things about if and when he’ll be back.

This is one of those games that could go either way. The HF passing attack is the real deal, but their defense hasn’t been impressive. They put up 50 on the same Hitchcock defense that has made some really good teams look bad, albeit with a bunch of turnovers. They’ve taken much better care of the ball since that game. That said, I wouldn’t be shocked if either team won by two scores. I’m not positive Augustine is back for this one. If I knew for sure he would be I’d be more confident in a horns win. I think this’ll be a high scoring game. Give me the longhorns winning 41-34
