i maybe off but its not by that much.  he should shatter what he rushed for last year,  as well as total touchdowns . i would like to see them throw the ball more , but if his other teammates on offense can step up like they did last week it  would be huge for them . if we can finish with 6 wins would be good for the program , would like to get 7 that would mean an upset somewhere . well so far harris has improved 2012 2-8 , 2013 3-6 and so far 4 wins with 4 games to go . lets get that defense shored up in the middle and see what happens . 

Maybe , maybe not . But That is why you play the games that are left on the schedule . I spoke about the defense and said that is a major problem, but i guess our kids didnt play their collective butts off cause they won ? Again your not making commentary you were making excuses. I dont care if hamshire scored 40 points off of punt returns, pick sixs , fumbles, fluke plays and no offensive plays. They put up some of the 40 points due too as you said and i quote some "bonehead plays" that kelly made. the key is not too have boneheaded plays cause as you well know they can cost you the game . Score 40-31 i dont care how you score Thats football my man . We are talking football , you are just making excuses for the losing team . They made mistakes that cost them the game . Hamshire has been losing for years after being a good football program from the 70's , 80's 90's and a few years in the 2000's . We havent been to the playoffs since 2003 the longest streak in school history . So im not under any hypnotic spell because we won back to back games and have a 4-2 record we are the best team in the area . The team has a long way to go , i come from an era when you could go 8-2 and miss the playoffs if you lost the wrong games . Nowadays you can get into the playoffs with losing records and get the lights beat out of you in bidistrict or you can do like gladewater and go 4 deep into the playoffs and finish with a 7-7 record . In other words its still 4 games to go and hamshire can lose the next 4 , i just take 1 game at a time so hf won last night enjoy it one more day then its time to move on . Good luck bulldogs with the rest of your season .

Here we go with another joker with the "ifs" . Hamshire won the game plain and simple so move on . Like i said before no one said after this hamshire is gonna win a district title or win out . "If" hamshire would have lost the game you say same ole hamshire . well they won the game and you say they should have won by 40 . Now you say "if" this would have happened or "if" that would have happened , well it didnt and they won so lets move on and let the kids enjoy their win for another day and get ready for next week .

Its no maybe my man i am right they won thus no L but rather a W and that is all that counts . Now having said that no one from what ive seen thinks that hf is gonna go undefeated. Hamshire has major problems on d and still needs other players too step up on offense . Looks like others stepped up last night on offense which was good to see .hf still has a ways to go . But coming into district play with a 4-2 record and a 2 game winning streak is something to hang your hat on . Especially if you have already won 1 more game than last year and the first time winning 4 games in 7 years.

Im sure he saw the same type of attitude along with talent and problems at Florida. While urban myers looked the other way and won national championships. He also had Tebow too take the attention off the thug and hoodlums that were some of their best players on that team . im sure strong made a note that he would not let these highly recruited players playing at texas get away with what went on at florida . You have too destroy first in order too build anything , if that means mindsets , bad attitudes and law breakers then so be it . They dont deserve to play at any college especially if you have been warned numerous times .

I wonder when was the last shutout the horns had ? Either way great job on defense to pitch a shutout . Was king tds all rushing ? Did he throw any tds ?

i will stick to football since this is a "football form . i will agree with the 80's (having played in the mid 80's in the area ) but i give a big shout out to when it really kicked off imo was  the 1970's . in 1974 -1977 was there a better team than png in the area or state ? they won 4 district titles ,4 bi district titles , 4 regional titles , 4 qtr finals titles,  2 semi finals titles and 1 state title . they had the best running back in the state in 1971-1972 in jeff bergeron and no losing record in the 70's and just missing the playoffs (district champs represented in the playoffs ) in 70,71 and 72 . beaumont hebert won it all in 1976 and in 1979 would lose in the semis to bay city . then you had newton that won it all in 1974 the 1st of their 3 titles and continues to be a powerhouse in 2a ball in the state till this day  . bob west starts the pa super team football team in 1972 that would show case the best of the best players in setx and in the late 1970's the beaumont super gold team was established as well . The area even had hamshire fannett  in 1975 make it too the semi finals game against lagrange  and was within a dropped winning touchdown pass of getting to the state finals game . the area and that decade produced 3 consecutive state football championships   1974 newton (2-A)  , 1975 png( 4-A) , 1976 hebert (3-A)   . the 1970's wasnt too shabby

PICKY !!! Anytime a young man makes all district is an honor , to make all district 1st team both ways wr /db as a sophmore and help your school get into the playoffs for the 1st time in 40 years . Plus add on district 10-2A Mvp and all state as a basketball player on one of the best b ball program year that compete in the state tournement year in and year out . I will say with 2 years left playing football sky is the limit for this young man . He keeps it up why couldnt he be elite player by his sr year ? Give him a break !!
