They are not correct #20 Keener Dayt had 120+ all by himself,mismatch all night.Baughman struggled early@qb and the reason for the high throws=throwing from midfield down the pitch of the field=passes fly higher,not used to that.Dayt had many passes wide open in space dropped.Also Dayt could have punched in another score in the last 2 min.Sent in reserves,qb could not handle or cover the ball in the red zone.This game- penalties & dropped passes could have been a 60-40 shootout

man he was breaking Bulldog tackles like crazy, I knew we were in for a show when he took that one handoff went towards NED sideline then reversed his field and still broke 2 or 3 tackles on the right side to move the chains.

Serious start to district play for 21-5A. BH vs Crosby and King vs Dayton. Separation begins next week.

Is it just me or does Dayton have the potential of a good running game if they would just give the damn ball to #9. He makes things happen when he touches the ball. He is definaty not afraid to lower his shoulders to make that extra yardage.

Me and the principal of DHS was talking about the fan support...if Dayton go on a 4 game winning streak all those so called fans will show up, like they been there all year.

Ok here we go: I thought Dayton started off way too slow tonight, shoulda started off passing down field to begin the game, starting off slow can cost you a big district game or playoff game. Alot of dropped passes by them too, but when they got going it was amazing, lots of speed and huge lineman. 20 was a matchup problem all night long, that kid is a beast. 15 is fast! 7 needs more open field vision he could have scored 2 tds tonight if he saw his cutback lanes. 9 surprised the heck outta me, that lil sophomore can GO! He has speed and toughness combined. The Dayton defense played good tonight overall I thought. Lastly: Dayton fans support yall team and come out to the stadium, mini crowd tonight, maybe cause of the early rain but I dont know.

Now for Nederland: Seay IS Nederland. Period. If that kid doesn't play ball at somebody's college im starting an investigation, he single handedly kept Nederland in this ballgame but he needs more help. 6 came to play as well, thst lil man is quick with great hands. On defense 7 played great! 1 has to have a cooler head, cost his team 30 yards in the 4th qtr which resulted in Dayton putting the nail in the coffin in this one. Nederland you have to put Seay at WR if you guys wanna make the playoffs and use him in the secondary, he is your best playmaker. And lastly this team I saw tonight was small, one of the smallest Nederland teams ive ever seen, also kinda slow, run defense wasnt great, I think Vidor may give you guys trouble.



Now for the Nederland fans: yes you packed your own stadium. Yes you were loud. But um why did yall start trickling out after yall cut the lead to 28-16 Dayton up 3rd qtr? Game wasn't nearly over at that point, I have never seen a Nederland crowd leave early at home before the 4th qtr, weird stuff.

To my Dogs: Better step it up a notch. We miss Seay at WR and Safety in my opinion. Too many penalties, too many drops, lots of missed tackles, and not much discipline. I think there might be some changes coming on both sides of the ball...

If the Dogs build on last week, it will be a good game...

Better then Crosby visitor parking!  Worst I have ever been at.

Heck no 2012 SC 45 Dayt 7 in front of the DHS home team,we were 9-0 and had 111 tot yds & 8 1st dwns,2 on penalties.We've traditionally lost alot of pre-season games,but against FW,Angleton,Elkins,Ike but defense was better & we won a few.I plead the 5th on what needs to be fixed,and w/who.TMI It's the Coaches job to stop the bleeding,it's the players job to listen w/o backtalk & play as a team.I don't see the energy or the swagger that comes w/playing solid football=both ways

Dude y'all ain't nothing. You think dayton is worried about Crosby lol come on man really? Your Crosby, not Katy not Allan, nor South Lake Carroll. Since when I'n the hell is Crosby the team to beat? Your program is garbage! You think beating Dayton or Nederland means your some program that everyone fears? I'll tell you right now man it's a NO! You make several long playoff runs like Dayton and Nederland then Come talk to me cause y'all haven't done nothing man. How many district titles have you won recently ? One that I can remember. How many times have y'all went further than us in the playoffs In the last 10 -15 years? Again I'll tell you, you are not elite you are not world beaters you are Crosby, a team we dominate on a regular basis.

If you come through Dayton on Hyw. 90 take a right  at tracks ( Waco str.) down on the left is Mexican food (Jose) - or going west out of Dayton there's a Seafood place at the Hotel on left side.

IMO, the road to state from southeast Texas goes through Dayton.

Dayton is not forgotten......  One thing about Dayton..... they are well-coached, Physical , and seem to peak at the right time every year (Playoffs)

I think Aledo is about the same size as Dayton I guess you can write them off also ! Dayton has plenty of talent for years to come and our enrollment numbers will be going up also they'll getting ready to vote on a 86 million dollar bond to build new schools. Better worry about this year though because the Bronco's are coming to town to serve up a big order of Crow !  GO BRONCO'S -----
