My point is like in 2022,2023 when Bellville knocked them out of the first round of the playoffs anyone not blinded by the “Coaches aren’t calling the right plays/There is a culture issue” could clearly see and evaluate those teams as not being near as talented as teams of the past… but now I see people saying “Anyone could coach and call the plays for this talent level they have for this team and win” people can’t have it both ways… I’m not accusing you of that necessarily but it’s clear that from day one people have wanted this WOS head coach and his staff to not succeed. It’s just kinda mind boggling

I mean…. Yeah some of it definitely has to do with the play calling that’s common sense.

I believe it’s gonna be a high scoring game… East Bernard had some success throwing vs Newton but their WRs dropped quite a few passes… Problem is even if they caught them it probably didn’t matter because they had no answer for the Newton offense

I mean I believe there is a chance pretty much any school could be “good” one day… now saying a team could or will be a “Powerhouse” is a whole different story. When I think of teams that could be considered powerhouse teams at some point (Past or present) I think of United, West Brook, Silsbee, HJ, Kountze, EC just to name a few…

It’s not being biased… It’s just being realistic. Again nothing is impossible and anything could happen… but realistically Carthage should be favored comfortably. I hope WOS wins

East Bernard has had some bad drops… probably score on 2 of the drops.. defensively they don’t have much of an answer for the Newton offense. Also #11 essentially ripped off the helmet of Porter and that looked pretty dirty IMO… they called facemask but it looked dirty

Really wanted to make this one in person but something came up… watching from home hopefully it’s a good game but I tend to think Newton wins comfortably

I think WB and United will still be a tier above them but we will see.

Kountze still ain’t a bad team but losing their two guards hurt them. Especially the McDaniel girl who signed with Lamar.
