If my facts are straight it's GCM deepest EVER run, they have been to Area before but this is the 1st time they have won it.

Nope.  Wrong again.  Don't blame the parents or the superintendent.  Sticky and UGK are kid haters.... quit trying to put a negative on these kid's season.

How are they kid haters, they said nothing about the kids. Looks like they it was an upset parent or a supt with no backbone. Neither of those say anything about the kids or their season.

Game 3: officially is at Pearland Dawson at 12pm  on Saturday with GCM being the Home team.

Good appreciate the support, i guess we will focus on finishing our  goal this season before heading down to the cellar for the next two years.

GCM defeated Galena Park 12-0 Thursday night at GP to clinch the district title.
We have one more game on Tuesday night at home vs Santa Fe. With a two game lead though no one can touch us.
Stay hungry boys, we owe SF one and whoever we come across in the playoffs. Proud to be a Patriot.

We had practice last night but could hear the game.  Hopefully I can get the boys over to a game before the season ends.

One last home game, this coming Tuesday @ 7pm.  It will be senior night.

Goose Creek Memorial holds a two game lead with 3 games left.  It should be fun though till the end because GCM plays GBall tonight and Santa Fe next Tuesday.  

 

If you are around without a game to watch tonight, swing by GCM hopefully we will provide some good baseball to watch.

Yep no excuses made here. We weren't flat, we hit balls hard, it just didn't bounce our way. Just one of those nights that hopefully doesn't happen to often.

Good thing: GCM holds two game lead over next 4 teams with 3 games left.

I believe the boys are still hungry and will be just fine Tuesday at home vs GB.

Its all good luckily that game is over, error or no error.  Yesterday's home runs dont win todays games. Btw GCM defeated the #2 team in district Pearland Dawson 16-0 to move to 9-1 in district.  Great job Pats.

Yesterday the GCM baseball teams (all 3 of them) played with the Highlands Sports Associations Special Needs Teams (Texans, Rangers, Longhorns). It was a really blessing for my son and his friends to get to spend a little bit of time with these kids playing a game everyone can love.

The HC at Clear Brook is former coach under Aduddell when he was at Sterling so it would not be surprising.  They both run the same offense.

We will for sure take the victory.  An ugly win is for sure better than an ugly loss.  Its tough to bring it every single night, thats why a season is a grind and the good teams will find a way to win.  We need to make sure that we are still doing the little things.  The fact will be that we will get everyones best.  Everyone wants to be the group that takes the 0 away in the loss column.  GP is better than what people give them credit for.  Their pitcher competed and was around the zone and they made the routine plays in the field.

 

I could careless about records.  Every night is a battle and every opponent is faceless.  We need to stick to the fundamentals and continue to be tough outs and play good defense.  We have Santa Fe on Friday to wrap up the 1st round.  Hopefully the Pats have two great days of practice.  I know Thames will have them ready.

GCM is 12-3 or 13-3...started off 1-3 I believe ..4-0 in district. Beat Friendswood last Tuesday.

GCM is now 13-3 (5-0 in district).  Wins against teams in 20-4a Barbers Hill 11-3/Crosby 12-10, 19-4a Vidor 6-1, 5a's Channelview 7-6, PAM 11-1, B Westbrook 19-2.

 

We play Galena Park tonight at home.  We prefer the underdog no one knows about us status.  We just like to come out to the park and leave it on the field.  Great job so far PATs, dont get satisfied.
