  1. !!score:21/20/F Kingwood. Yep. Thought they’d be here when La Porte played them earlier. Not a bad squad this year at all.
  2. This one didn’t ripen well. To be fair, you weren’t aware this was the first game since the Border Battle — Game 1 —that LP wasn’t missing at least 3 starters on D & 2 on O. Tonight, they were only missing one SR OL.
  3. !!score:6/52/F
  4. TD Crosby! Great catch by #1. Blocked XP !!score:6/52/4/3/40
  5. Simon TD. Busted through about 8 tacklers. !!score:0/52/4/4/27
  6. Yarbrough with 30 yards so far. 5:50 in 4th.
  7. Big hit on KO. TO to LP.
  8. TD Bright !!score:0/45/4/6/56
  9. LOL LP LB intercepted the pitch. That’s penetration.
  10. #2 should get some yards now. LP’s seconds are in. Got almost 8 minutes left to pile up some stats.
  11. Crosby will regroup. Y’all just ran into a buzz saw tonight. LP is rounding into form & getting injured players back each week. They’re almost at full strength again.
  12. Bright TD !!score:0/38/4/8/15
  13. Crosby getting chippy. Targeting LP’s QB. Not cool. Ejection.
  14. My bad. Too used to being Visitor after 2 years. LOL !!score:0/31/3/2/12
  15. !!score:0/31/3/2/12 You've alerted the ScoreboardBot: Score Alert: Crosby(31) @ La Porte(0) Q3 2:12
  16. Sandolph with a 60+ yard TD.
  17. Not sure what that was all about…
  18. Still need to clean up mistakes.
  19. Simon is gonna be a player. Only a fish. Big boy. #21
  20. You’re not playing the same caliber team as the last 4 weeks.
  21. LPSportsnet YouTube channel. Still have all the bells & whistles/instant replays/etc. as if at Bulldog Stadium. Still free.
  22. This game will be broadcast on LPSportsnet YouTube channel.
  23. As LP finishes up with Pasadena, this game—and the next vs Angleton—will determine PO seeding. I like LP’s O in this one. But, they’ll need to protect the football, and minimize penalties. The unsung weapon for LP has been Special Teams. Again, I like LP in that. Crosby has one main weapon—and he’s a good one. La Porte has four interchangeable RB’s they can trot in fresh at any time, and a QB who is starting to round into form as the staff has found the best way to use him. Underestimating LP’s passing attack has been a big mistake for previous opponents. LP is actually about 70/30 run/pass this year, and has shown the ability to move the ball consistently with the passing attack when the run is shut down. Although, the run has yet to be shut down by anyone this year. LP has gained over 200 yards rushing in every game this year. I’ve only seen Crosby once this year. They looked very solid to me as they seem to have finally grown into the new scheme. Defensively, they’ve looked solid—although the competition is not as strong as LP’s to this point. I think they’ll be the best D LP has faced since Kingwood. I think this will be a one score game—with the slight edge to LP’s O if both teams play to their recent norms. Should be a good one. Even better if both teams come away injury free. A little surprised this wasn’t a Pick ‘Em this week. It could be a very good ‘separator’ game. On paper, it could easily be a toss-up.
