I think many of the regular starters were back for this game. Announcers said 7 were out for PNG & 5 out last week. If they can keep playing clean like this, they’ll be where folks thought they would be at the start of the year.

Looks like LPSportsnet YouTube channel will be broadcasting the game. Not sure how it will be from Abshier. Hopefully, they’ll be able to get replays, camera angles, etc. still. But, free alternative to Texan Live at the least. Go Dawgs!

Yes. Friendswood has some good sized young men.

My understanding is it will also be hosting UIL sanctioned track meets. That’s the reason for the track setup with the full 8 lanes & supporting regulation infrastructure.

I still think Kingwood may give King a tussle for the 4 spot.

Hey. At least it’s a lot closer! I hope DP will allow LPSportsnet to stream. As for the game, LP needs to clean up their play in a big way. They are a run first, pass off the run type team & have to stop with all the penalties and TO’s. They’re too experienced for this stuff to keep happening. They could easily be 3-1, or even 4-0, instead of 1-3 without the 2-3 TO’s per game & 10 or so penalties. IMO, if they get it together, they can play and win against just about anyone. Fundamentals win games. Go Dawgs!

Friendswood’s not a bad team. I think Ball beat them 33-7 if I remember right, and La Porte had them 24-9 until the last play of the game with no time left when they scored another TD to wind up 24-15. Granted, it was another pretty sloppy game from LP from the 2nd half I saw. 2 more TO’s, and looked flat. Still, FWD played pretty tough.
