Not sure why an “out of the area” coach would be more qualified than an “in the area” coach.” I think they will make a quality hire.  And congrats to Coach Abel.  Heck of a basketball coach

I think it's a good job for a great assistant or a head coach that's looking to get a pay raise and play in a tough district and challenge you as a coach....PNG was pretty good this year when I saw them in the HJ tourney.

I understand being frustrated but I don’t think going on a public forum is be way to handle it . Especially is they are doing a good job hard to get a coach fired if they find ways to win. But good luck to your team they need support not  negativity. I bet Beaumont United girls basketball team that was 35-0 thought they were a state bond team but they lost in then 2nd  round. You never know what happens in the playoff.Good luck to all our area playoff teams.

Nederland clinched the outright district championship and look to make it a undefeated run in Dayton on 3-19. 
I've really enjoyed watching these seniors play. Best of luck moving forward the rest of the season and in life. 

I was a little frustrated with the tie and spoke out of anger. The coaches have done a good job with the girls and have also done somethings I don't agree with but hey it's their team. I'm going to support my daughter and her friends regardless. This is a regional tournament team so we will see if we can get there. 

Concerned or curious? Standard question really.  Good player, hey what grade he in?  Is he coming back next year?  I don’t understand all the secrecy.  Why wait until September?  What going on then? 

After talking to people from that district (which idk if its true ) that he already turned 19. Which means he would to old to play next year.  Can anybody clear this up for me 

Can you really take someone serious who can't even use the correct "win" in their post?  

Nothing like when someone tries to compliment a team and their coaching staff and someone then has to trash the other team who has a coaching staff and I’m sure players as well that are working their butts off to compete. But hey, at least the softball and baseball teams apparently have the talent to “when it all”. Congrats Coach Barstow and the mustangs and keep your head up Coach Jeffcoat and players. You guys have come a long way this year and have had some great seasons the last few years 

Really dude 2nd game of the year and BC played great .. it happens sometimes the best team doesn’t win.   BC was better that night.
