The point guard position is solid, Nash will do well again. The PG position was not the problem at Warren. Kountze had 5 players that were of college caliber starters and EC had MR. Tramain Thomas (respect) and some good help. The 5 position was and is the question. Warren did not have a inside-out game last year. It was inside-inside, that "a changin". EC will still have Thomas, Warren will have 4 starters back and Kountze will have tradition. It is going to be a war and 7 point spreads may be a bit much.

Warren's strength is really in their shooters, Yes, Granger controlled the ball but he also took it out of the shooters hands. I see more and better offense this year. Better rebounding this year and Warren will be as big or bigger than Granger at the 5. Should be interresting and lots of fun in 23AA.

Warren's Travis McBee is as good as they come.

Woodville has a good size line and plenty of speed. Warren has mucho speed, if we do not do a better job on the O line it will be a long night. We will have to take advantage of our qickness through the line and give our QB's time to hit our recievers (who must catch the ball). DP is right about the turnovers Warren just can't afford to have any.

Warren's number are really not that good either. They had the JV dressed out on the sidelines. There are 8 starters going both ways.

WH scored on a fumble for a touchdown and a misque by Warren on a punt which led to a touchdown. Warren scored on two long passes from McBee to Nash and a Sweep by McBee. Warren's offense struggled with the running game, 6 fumbles and several dropped passes. West Hardin was able to run up the middle in the first half but had two interceptions at inopportune times. The second half was pretty much controlled by Warren's defense. Both teams played their hearts out. It was an exciting game.

You have to admire the Chester boys. I know some of them and they are great kids with big hearts. It'll be a tough year and I wish them the best.

With Warren, EC and Kountze in a real battle it will be the team that can win one on the road. This will be one of the best races in the state. Manican't wait.

Can't see a 4pt win for Silsbee at EC then a 6pt win for Silsbee at Silsbee. If it's that close EC wins at home and a 4pt win for Silsbee at home. At a neutral site is a toss up.

Don't know about third place, Kountze will have something to say about that.
