Come on eagles get off the fence. If you were one of the kids would you want to play for someone like yourself or someone  that excites them and is a motivator. Yes you will rub some people the wrong way but so what  show sportsmanship and take the good with the bad. You can't stay beat down your whole life

I am not sure most posters know what real speed looks like. If yoe had real speed they would not be runner up. WDV has real TEAM SPEED even our big guys are fast. IF yoe is looking for someone to match them speed wise they wont have far to look. 

congrats to all the young men mentioned above. Hard work does pay off. For all the people who want to know what it takes to play D1 ball, what do all these young men have in common that sets them apart from everyone else.  physically I mean.

Eagles1 is getting better, It is just hard for him to go from the tea drinking politically correct  environment to a blue collar hard nose say what you mean tone. He is catching on quick though. To bad we didn't have Newton on the schedule this year. Would have been interesting.  

56  to  7  is a little conservative, but I agree.

The whole thing needs to be tweaked. The only restrictions should be on breaking balls most are not taught how to properly throw a curve or slider, this is where the arm problems start. Should be unlimited on fast balls and change ups and 45 breaking balls a week. Kids will last longer. imo

Great point to be made, Football and Baseball is not the only things parents live vicariously through the kids in. Go to the southeast texas  fair it is probably the worst . and on the same note I have seen kids born from birth to be doctors kindergardners reading on a 5th grade level. I Know kids that have never been on vacation to many animals to tend to. Parents all made these decisions kids just want to play and have fun.

Enjoyed the trash talk . Kirbyville has a couple of kids I hope can play it at the next level good group . Ps. The 6ft 4 320 lb kid I was referring to was 1 of our lineman he to I hope can play at the next level. Never seen a 320 lb qb lol.

No the best is yet to come. The district championship will be the last game of the season.

Word is kirbyville is very worried about this game many are doubting what they have pretty much a 1 man show. Woodville will have speed to burn . Rule 1 through 10 never let 1 man beat you woodville will run past on the way to a good race. Eagles1 has gotten to politically correct .needs to learn swagger . Old coach from Newton once said it ant braggin if you can back it up. Kids play up to or down to expectations your choice.

Ever see a kid 6ft 4  320lbs run a 4.9 40,,,There is reason to be worried.
