Come on now jag a friendly scrimmage would not hurt anyone. Woodville should improve over the next couple of years. They are a young team that doesn't know they aren't supposed to compete with good schools with good athletes. I think they will surprise some folks with the number of kids they sign to play football in the next 2 years 

I understand but for a community with low self esteem, this is a good start coaches sound willing to up the game . Maybe central can get on the schedule next round.

I may be wrong but this resembles a lot like the issues on college campuses creating safe zones for the snow flakes. Yes there are comments out of line, yes people are to sensitive . For the most part people are just talking trash for fun .  If site is sensored to heavily, I see more harm than good.

This is a big surprise. Isn't Shelbyville a 3 seed. Colmesneil is ranked in the top 25.

I have noticed the support or lack of for the past several weeks. Every game we lose nothing but excuses umpires fault you name it. Nothing a umpire or anyone else can do to win or lose. No wonder all every one talks about is softball. We will see how it goes against newton.  If self esteem is that low it is already over.

You are right you win or lose with pitching and hitting. No power arms and no hitting and you wind up with a short season.

Nothing against evadale they have a very good team. Woodville has been going down hill for a while. This team is expected to go a long ways. This year and next . Dixie league World Series must mean nothing.

your right they should have honored those games. I don't think it was thought through or they don't know what they have coming up. If this keeps up no one will be around long. especially the better athletes, they will go to greener pastures.

You are right the team under Johnson was legit. But you are missing my point , these parents are different from the parents that were there under fancy. And I am talking all sports not just football. I know for a fact these current and former coaches had problems with parents putting the fair and vacations and anything that came up above games and practice they expect a coach to be a miracle worker while doing little to nothing to improve their children. The current 8th grade class soon to be freshman class . Will work and play circles around the upperclassmen. Playing down now will only retard this classes ability. Again they have parents that are investing in their kids not just talking.

You are not trying to kill a program by scheduling other 2a schools. What he did was expose the parents . They supported the kids in words only. The Fair winter break and spring break all came before sports. 

This is sad a once proud program that represented the BULLDOG name is now reduced to the pussycats. Many in the community will not be happy

You are right woodville has a good team that is why I am baffled by the schedule look at everyone's schedule that is in district we are bottom 3 harmony even has a tough schedule Tyler and white oak tournament 

Yes this district is tough there are always kids that are 90 and above. I have seen as many 5 kids throwing this hard on 4 different teams. I figured harmony was pretty good this year when I seen them playing in the Tyler tournament. You can always tell what kind of team a coach has when you see his schedule. Good team good schedule bad team bad schedule.

I agree they need it before district starts kid from central heights will approach 95 himself not sure the harmony tournament will help much no one in that tournament is a baseball power. I even see where harmony will go to Tyler and play in a 5 and 6a tournament there .  That is where you get better not by playing teams that you run rule

I hear they may use a pitching machine for the alum game. If so turnout may not meet expectations all these guys want to throw and show the youngsters they still have it. The pre district schedule is a disappointment 

I notice this is not a typical Woodville Schedule, This is the weakest schedule Woodville has ever played, Silsbee and the Alum game are the toughest on schedule. What is up*
