WOS lacked elite skill position talent this past year. QB was a issue but he (they) weren’t being helped much by their supporting cast. The best player on the offense was the RB and he was injured much of the year to the point he wasn’t 100% in a lot of games. This past senior class was probably the weakest in 10+ years for WOS in terms of skill position talent.
 
i expect WOS the next 2-3 years to have another possible state championship run/runs.

The new OC/oline coach will get them there. Just gotta trust the process

All of WOS’s facilities are 20 years outdated. But I think coach T likes it like that, keeps the hard work mentality going.

Kirk Botkin is worth looking at, not because of his record but looking at where he has coached over the years I think he should be real contender if he interviews well.  Coached under Spurrier at South Carolina, Defensive Coordinator at South Carolina State after that, University of Arkansas, and now at Dekaney.  I could be totally off but it is an intriguing pick in my opinion.

Couple kids from Southeast Texas made this list as well.
i was really impressed with Ethan McCollum, LCM might have the best football player in Orange Texas in this particular class which might possibly be the first time ever? I’m sure WOS will have 1-5 guys emerge though. Anyways list below.

No they don’t bro sorry and Newton has pushed out a D1 every year for the last decade . It easy to see who has offers 

They are good but this is a deep RB year for the state. The jasper kid is the best young back in the area and he couldn’t even crack the top 75.

So only Silsbee has scheduled Newton? Or we don’t have the rest of their games yet?

As a Newton alum, former division 1 player, and a good friend of W.T. and Coach Carver, i will strongly say that the Newton athletes do not need any help with getting offers. Tamauzia Brown, Darwin Barlow, James Sylvester and Josh Foster are the type of players that college coaches find and offer themselves; they are getting offers regardless if a Newton coach or an outside Twitter friend of the players do anything or not. Yes, i see "jkbtjc53" on Twitter everyday and he does love these young kids. I respect the hell out of him for that, but he is not the one getting them their offers. Yes, he know's and talks to some ASSISTANT high school coaches from WOS, Central, Jasper, Etc, but it's not the HEAD COACH. Yes, he may talk to some ASSISTANT college coaches, but it is not the HEAD COACH. The head coach makes the decision to offer a player, not an assistant. The assistant may extend the offer, but that is not his decision, as it only comes from the head coach first. The Newton kids were getting offered by Baylor regardless if the Twitter friend was relevant or not. I see the Newton kids communicate with jkbtjc53 on Twitter, but please do not think you're getting them their offers. They will take comments and love from anyone, as they should. You talk them up and re-tweet everything they post. I commend you on what you do and your effort, sir. Though, I am 99.9 percent sure that not one college head coach that has offered a Newton kid knows who you are. If you did not have a Twitter or know any of these Newton kids through social media, i would guarantee that they would have every offer that they currently have at the moment. I do not want any beef and i am not hating on jkbtjc53, i am just stating facts. Have a great day!

For you who don’t know, I’m a recruiting expert, have worked with rivals, 247, and other people/recruiting companies. I rencently just published my top 100 recruits in the state of Texas list which Baylor, A&M, and a few more schools bought the rights to. A few 409 southeast Texas kids made the list and I thought I’d post it here so you guys could see who. Elia is good, I see him as a UofH, Kansas,Mizzou type of prospect.

Silsbee needs to be quiet, they aren't in WOS's class. This might be another year like WOS had 3-5 years ago when they had what 10 shut outs?
