I have already passed Jarron Morris name to him. And most of the kids in this thread. He's going to make a national article on 247 that will draw a lot of eye balls I'll post the link when he does it.

WOS gets more looks then most Houston area schools. It's a reason a school with less then 600 students has sent more kids to D1 schools then any other in the Golden Triangle dating back to 2006.

I'm going to call bs on you. It's public record and plus a judge isn't going to talk with you about a minors court case, if the judge did then I suspect action will be taken.

Coach Thompson has a history of doing this. Back in 2011 he did this exact thing to Robert Redd, he brought the thing all the way up to UIL where they told him he was out of order and they didn't see why he would make a kid miss 6 games of his senior year going through all this bs when he had no CLEAR evidence of Robert Redd leaving WOS for athletic reasons. You can look this info up because its 100% fact.

I personally don't care about coaches reading this board I care about young men being treated right and fairly. Did Cornell Thompson Tell Johnny Shaw he couldn't play at WOS because he moved for athletic reasons? No. Did he tell Chris James he couldn't play? No.

Don't hold yourself so high and mighty that you think you own these kids.

I don't think I bash Coach Thompson matter of fact, I even talk about the Nederland coach as well. Anytime I have a problem with coaches it's not over position battles or playing time I will post problems I have with coaches if it has to do with a kids future. Which is what this post is about and what the post you link is about. Kids futures is way way way more important to me then being a kiss a$$ to a HS coach who has no affect on my life.

Mike Collins at Sam Houston will tell you me and him chat about prospects all the time, via txt, email and on the phone. He knows exactly who I am been knowing him since 2012 when he was the DC at Mcneese still. If you need his number to call him I'll be happy to give it to you he's their Defensive coordinator.

Besides not like his younger brother wasn't already enrolled in school at Cy Falls long before Trey Baldwin was.

I doubt those two programs will offer him. Nothing is wrong with Rice he will be a stud for them and get a top notch degree.

My point of the story is for people that know me off the site I assist a lot of kids in getting scholarships and putting their name out to the recruiting media.

A lot of the feedback I get from coaches is very negative regarding two SETX schools. One is WOS and the other is Nederland.

Regarding WOD I have had multiple college coaches tell me that unless the HC is in the office when they call he won't return their phones calls, a couple o. Coaches have said prospects from WOS have called them asking them to not mail their recruiting letters to the HS but instead to the recruits home because the coaches at WOS hold the kids mail and could cause them to miss some important documents.

WOS is aurguably the top program in the Triangle but unless it's a major prospect signing D1 you don't see a lot of other kids signs to smaller schools or junior colleges.


At Nederland, I've heard the same except add on the fact that I've been told by recruiting aites they have drove to Nederland to check and see what all kind of talent they have and get height and weight updates and the Nederland HC has kick those reporters off campus. This hurts a kids recruitment very very badly.


Imo if a kid goes out and busy his butt for you be a man and help the kid have a chance at a better life via a college degree. Don't try to be so much of a hard ass that you don't return a phone call or keep a kids mail.

That's not 100% true. If a HC doesn't put the word out a kid might get some offers say to a Mcneese but the kid might be SMU quality.

If Beasley had Earl's work ethic he would be in the NFL he was much better then Earl in HS.

Kid should have been allowed to sign with his teammates. Yes he miss practice a lot but he family situation is far worse then anybody else on the WOS football team. Kid has family issues a kid shouldn't have to worry about it deal with.

To ruin his day is childish, football season is over time to forgive and forget. I'm pretty sure coach T wasn't perfect at 17 years old.

Shaw should have signed with the team period!!

When the boys miss practice they have to run no excuses rather it be a death in the family or personal matters if you miss you are punished.

The coaches don't get punish when they miss.


Football season was over you don't ruin a once in a lifetime moment for a kid you just don't not over football, it's a game people a game. He got kicked off the team and that was punishment enough all this double punishment is nothing more then bullying and a attempt to further hurt the kid. Him signing for 20mins with his classmates would have hurt nobody!
