Well said, BH89-2. Back when I played ( many light years ago ), I would have rather taken a beating ( took several ) than have a team quit playing out of compassion. It's one thing to substitute, quit running, etc. but to quit playing against an opponent, to me that's the most disrespect your opponent can show. Just my two cents woth.

Fair Enough..I was planning a quite lengthy response in defense of BH coaches. Substitution has indeed been very heavy ( for example in last night's game, every kid played and batted at least once, with the exception of Thamm, the pitcher who did not hit). Also in these games that get out of hand, BH has stopped stealing and advancing on past balls. 

My apologies, ETBU. My post was from one BH fan to another BH fan and was totally meant to be " tongue in cheek".  Not sure how you saw it otherwise, nevertheless, my bad.

Hey, BH Fan at the risk of sounding trivial, we had 6 hr's. Carmona w/ 2, Ponder w/ 2, Hulsey w/ 1, and Townley with 1  ;D. On the other side of the plate, Thamm allowed only one hit for GP, right field single w/ 2 strikes on the batter.

There are several pitchers that can make this list. I'm still going w/ Hales and Thamm at BH....and Harrington and Flores @ PNG. Just my two cents.

I hear you Sarge...little confused myself. We'll probably see them in round two...maybe ?

Huffman has put thereselves(?) in tight spot @ 3-2...w/ New Caney and Crosby ahead of them @ 4-1-0.

I agree with Wildcat...very weak district...But BH has played well outside of district...Two of the three losses by one run. Two of the three losses to state-ranked 5A teams. No question though, there is plenty of talent on the team. Really hard to tell if we are ranked to high or if we are that good. I'm hoping we are that good.

I bet last night in Vegas 3 to 1 favorite...PNG wins the district. I'm totally BH biased, but geez will somebody in our district show up to play...'cause it has not been all us...And please quit saving your aces... it ain't working...I rather play some of those SE teams...win or lose, least we will get tested....Starting to get bored.

Huffman simply did not play well tonight. Those things happen. Watching them during warmups and their mechanics/fundementals, it's obvious they got plenty of talent. Just wasn't their night. I would imagine the rematch will be different.

BH 11-1 final. Ross Hales with win. Campbell with 4th HR of the season. Game did not play out as expected. Huffman made some mistakes early in the game and it "snowballed" from there. We at BH are smart enough to realize that Huffman had a bad game. They are much a better team than the one we saw tonight. We will not take them lightly in the rematch at their place later in the season. FYI to mysteryman....Ross Hales is in fact a stud.

Hey, Gringo. Read the rest of his posts....they do not get any better...Heck, I get attacked for hoping to see a well played game with two good pitching staffs. Hope I don't lose any sleep over it. Sounds like a could candidate to get the boot.
