PNG did what they needed to do. Silsbee can't have that many penalties and turnovers and expect to win.
-
I'll be interested in the yardages and stats.

Tough week for the Jasper kids and staff.
-
Never seen this coming. This can't be the Sterling squad Silsbee destroyed last week.
-
Turnovers killing Silsbee. You can't let PNG start at the 2 then at the 10.
-
 Sterling over Central?
-
Not exactly what most had predicted.
-
51 yd fg
Silsbee 3-2

I do not know if I will make it. :x Does any radio station carry PNG?

I would highly recommend that no names be posted in this situation. Sad that a decision had to be made that could affect an entire team. On the otherhand it good to see a team have discipline. Good luck OF.

How about HJ so far?

rb #21 Duckworth is about all Sterling has as long as you pressure the qb. I think Silsbee's Ahmad Jones was becoming a farmer the way he planted the qb. I vaguely remember some Sterling players helping to dig the qb out of a hole.

I think a big concern for the Tigers is the fact they gave up 32 points to a very weak team. The Raiders were 2-8 last year and this year the highest they are picked is 4th in a district that includes Wheatley' date=' Kashmere, and Worthng not exactly traditional powers. Despite this I think Silsbee's offense can create plenty of fireworks that will lead to many wins. In the end though PN-G will be too much.
Silsbee 24
PN-G 35[/quote']
For a sportscaster you should know the facts about games before posting this nonsense. There is no "concern" get your PNG shades off for a moment. What was the Silsbee side supposed to do keep the starters in during the fourth quarter when they were up 54-12? We would then be hearing how Silsbee was unsportsmanlike and ran up the score. This week will be a good game regardless.

I think Jasper finally comes ready to play. It is a rivalry so you can throw out the past. I see this as a close game with Jasper elevating their play for a 1-2 point win.
-
Good advice Gusher.
-
I guess it is good at least their leader is somewhat grounded with reality.
-
These Lumberton posts are becoming more and more comical. It is great some of you guys support your team....it really is, but don't get too cocky. You guys have one win, a win against a down team in New Caney. Scrimmages meant nothing just ask Barbers Hill or even Nederland. You guys have to learn how to walk before you run and you guys have just taken one step.

The Tigers put up a great offensive showing, but an average at best defensive showing.
This is a totally inaccurate statement. Sterling didn't put any real points on the Tiger starters. It was 54-12 when Silsbee substituted in the 2-3 strings early int he 4th quarter.
-
So is it safe to say if he goes down the team goes down? I have seen teams ride the "horse" before only to be disappointed late in the season when an injury creeps up ending their chances.
-
Silsbee's Chris Castle busted through the Sterling def for a nice td run late in the game.

Gotta think Central takes a tumble in this week's rankings.
