Terry got their behind whipped by Angleton while GCM is fired up coming off a win. On a neutral field I like the team with the momentum from the last game, Terry does have a couple of A&M commits that can change the game though. I'll take GCM behind about 200 from Grandberry, possibly setting up a third round matchup with Crosby at Stallworth.

And you don't keep going to the playoffs and keep beating teams you shouldn't. You been three times in forever and have two wins. Vidor did beat Crosby bad but Crosby helped greatly. I know y'all kill me for the stats, but like Dayton last night they will eventually catch up. Vidor only averaged 4 yards per carry in our game while we averaged close to 10 and out gained you by over 100 yards on limited possessions, Pirates just took advantage of mistakes like a good team does. Vidor had all kinds of trouble with Crosby in space and SC athletes are significantly better. Y'all called it "bend but don't break D", well these Dogs will shatter you if you let them get going like we did. SC doesn't make many mistakes, they played their worst game of the season on BH and were still up 21 in the 4th quarter so don't look at that as a marker. The SC defense is better than Ned at every position other than d-end too. I think Vidor could possibly break 20 like we did but I just don't see y'all keeping  them under 40.

They really don't have a sustainable run game so if they can't get behind you in the passing game they kind of struggle to score points. No reason for Dayton not to be able to throw the ball though, Chambers is very accurate and throws a beautiful ball. He hit some nice passes on Crosby and threw one to Tamlin on the sideline last night that is Saturday worthy. Ned doesn't have great offense either though, if you can check Hopkins that's pretty much half of their attack so if Dayton doesn't turn it over and can get a couple explosive plays I think they still win. 21-20 Dayton

Crosby put up 1429 yards but only 87 points on the three other playoff teams in the district. Bad Crosby is 450 yards and 21 points hampered by turnovers and penalties. Crosby's defense has given up 38 points the last 5 games (7.6ppg). Crosby's three losses have all come to teams currently ranked no lower than #11 in the state (SC moving into top 10, Dayton most likely falling out). Should have a few fireworks in this one.

Ned has the great ends but SC has two beast for D-tackles. # 76 goes three bills and if he was taller would be one of the most highly recruited kids in the state. #92 for Ned is better than the two SC ends but the SC ends are just as big and athletic. Ned scored 21 on us, I think they scored 20 on y'all. Crosby is the best rushing team in 19-4a and we barely broke 100 yards. We were able to stay in the game for a while by throwing for 337 yards though, probably should have tied the game in the third after an SC turnover but didn't and the Dogs made and awesome play and broke it open. Y'all scored 13 on Ned while we scored 7. That was our first game with this new coaching staff, the first time Aston called these plays in a real game and we were probably running about 20% of the offense we do now. We fumbled in the 4th quarter driving to make it 21-14 which would have changed the whole game with Ned. They made the plays and we didn't so we deserve to lose, but we hung with them in that state. We put 450+ yards of O on SC and still lost by 28, I just don't know if The Pearl has the firepower, plus you just gave up 42 to a team missing it's best player. These boys might be better than Dawson.

Great matchup for SC in this one. About a half hour drive down the beltway to Deer Park, should be like a Summer Creek home game. SC gets get the fast surface they like too. Very nice stadium y'all get to play in too.

[/quote] We lost my sophomore year by 10, won my junior year by 10, and lost my senior year by 3. Slaughtered Dayton my senior year but we still lost on a last second fg.
