1. Does anybody know if this game will be broadcast in the Triangle somewhere? My buddy is racing in Beaumont Saturday and can't come to the game so he wanted to know if he would be able to listen to it? Do they usually broadcast Ozen games?

Especially the winner of 19 4a in a down year. Vido will win this game Friday. That's not a guess that's a fact. So after Fridays game I do expect all these " high class" SC fans to message me and say " sir I'm sorry for being such trash and talking so much crap all week. I promise I won't do it again and Thank you so much for showing us what a real football team looks like. Can't wait to be knocked out in the first round AGAIN next year"
"outer Houston kids"  ??????????????????????
He meant a team with all brothers. He's from Vidor and can't say that though. He thinks his team is physical because they won 9 games in an extremely down year in 20-4a, a year only two teams  were over .500. After SC punks Vidor all over the field he won't get on here and say anything but how classless and arrogant the SC players were. Not "they told us they were going to smash us and did". You have to realize, this is only most Vidor fans third time in the playoffs so that's why he can guarantee a win against a team none of the player on his could even start for.

I think that Nederland will stop Dayton's running Game and win because of it. Lets compare... Cougars lost to both teams. Vs. Nederland they had 25 rushes for 53 yards Vs. Dayton they had 42 rushes for 288 Yards Vs. Nederland ypc 2.12 Vs. Dayton ypc 6.86 Lets Compare rushing offenses vs the Cougs Defense. vs. Nederland 46/208 vs dayton 36/149 vs nederland 4.52 ypc vs dayton 4.14 ypc. Difference. Nederland had a 2.4 Positive ratio Dayton had a -2.72 Ratio. Meaning you should expect the differential to be 5+ in the Offense to Defense YPC. Simply put Nederland is going to run up and down and Dayton is going to have to throw the ball to win. or they will try and run it and get destroyed. Either way i see Nederland Winning. If dayton tries to run the ball, they won't go anywhere and if they try and pass it the line won't be able to prevent the pass rush. The Broncos only chance at a win is a couple turnovers on the nederland side of the football field, and there defense playing at an extremely high level. I think Nederland gets an early TD then it's ground and pound from there, making it extremely difficult on the Broncos. If it stays close perhaps Carrancao will win one for Dayton, I just expect Nederland to win both line sof scrimmage and dominate this game physically. on route to a 14 point win.
I don't think you can use our Ned game for much. We maybe ran 20% of what we run now. First time those kids had heard those plays called in a game situation. Austin only got the ball 12 times and Riordan asked Aston not to run. The first designed play where the qb could run wasn't called until the first district game with BH. We had a bad game against Dayton, but other than that the defense has gotten solid and I don't think Ned could put up those 200 rushing yards on us now. Even still with that the only put up 21 points and basically got shutout the last three quarters once the D adjusted. I agree with the rest of you assessment though, I've been saying all year that Dayton can't stop the run but the Brono fans tell me "who cares, we're winning, or we give up those yards late." Hopkins isn't the game breaker Walter is but he's bigger and great at finding 5 or 6 yards. Dayton only really ran the ball on us as far as decent teams go, but nearly half of their 130 something yard total came on one run from McBride in the 2nd quarter. I still think Dayton has a chance if they can get the passing game going but I'm not sure Ned's d-line will give Chambers time enough.
oh..... so now your defense has gotten salty...... I remember you saying before our game that your D would shut us down like they had everyone else in the 2nd half of games. You're entitled to your opinion, but don't do the same thing that you rip others for.
The only difference is, since I said our defense has gotten solid we haven't given up more than 246 total yards in a game. That's a lot different than getting beat by 38 after saying that. We've only given up over 200 total yards once since SC, that means I wasn't saying our D was salty after giving up 300+ yards to CE King and KP. Your stats didn't support your statement, mine do. When BH said their D got salty after giving up almost 500 yards to Crosby you agreed they had fixed it because they held y'all under 200 total yards, I was telling you then Dayton offense just sucked. Yeah,y'all threw it over our head and Riordan didn't make the DC adjust or help the guy y'all were picking on but we had y'all before that crap started happening. We were up 13-7 after the first with a dropped td and had you backed up in your own endzone on a 3rd and 35. If not for that 96 yards prayer from the back of the endzone your down 20 to 7 and in a deep hole against our type of O. Good in-game adjustment by the Broncos though, but we still threw and ran for a bunch on what was supposed to be a salty D. We averaged 450+ ypg on playoff teams in the district, I was just saying Dayton had been hit or miss but were getting breaks all season like the drops vs Elkins and no Denny for BH. I still hope y'all win man, we done playing so I don't start hating y'all again until August but your literally showing up to a dogfight with a limping horse.

Y'all only got there once against SC. Ned's defense isn't as good but y'all only crossed the 50 like three times on SC.

 6. Man, I just now voted because I thought I might change my. Y'all have zero faith in Dayton? I voted for Ned too but still, 2.5 to 1 think the Broncos are one and done? I'm kind of disappointed I can't pull out a stat that says Dayton will win. I know Ned is bigger and more physical than Dayton, plus they have a true feature back in Hopkins who is going to get his. I think this is Dayton's first time in D1 for a while, so now you get the Ned, Montgomery, Dawson's early and for one season a Vidor and their weird offense. Maybe the best stat of all is Liltex's "Dayton 3rd round or better since '07 though." I have to admit, it would be hard to see the Broncos end the season on basically a three game skid.
 7.
I didn't mention the 3rd loss because it was in rd3 of the playoffs and ya'll weren't there.....so I was only talking reg. season  ;D
You don't have to worry about being there either this year, or the next. Like I said earlier, you'll be back to struggling for fourth in the not so distant future. You'll be talking about those same two playoff wins for several years to come. It's just like how we were beating up on Ned before this year, they're a different team now. I know y'all haven't been good two years in a row since the AFL-NFL merger but you're going to find out these things go in cycles, that's why Dayton's streak is amazing. Y'all have Quirante and have been at a peek the last two years, the valley is right on the other side of the parabola.
 8.
Cougar I understand that......we lost 2 last year and 1 this year.....same swagger  8)
You were 10-3 last year, 9-1 this one. My Crosby math says that's 4.

By the way,we thru an interception in the endzone when we lost to Nederland......we don't get props for holding them to 20????
Do we get props for holding Ned to 21? SC, just like Ned is good against the run. By the time we had played SC the kids had a better grasp on the new playbook and we threw for 337, that's pretty much the only way we moved the ball. Vidor can't do that, look at the stats from their attempt at a passing game this year. Pirate fans are going to tell you the stats don't matter and they can throw like that if they need to but it's still interesting. One fumble, one  3 n out, or probably not in Vidor's case a pick and three plays later your down 7 more. Y'all better stop thinking the SC kids are underestimating Vidor, they just play with the swagger a team that has only lost two games in two years should.

They have an athletic d-line but I'm not sure it's better than Nederland's d-line. Vidor has the intangibles with good coaching and Quirante. Should be good game to watch. I think I have to give the edge to Summer Creek after the way they handled Dayton. SC 35 Vidor 30
I'm not sure the entire line as a whole is better than Ned's either, but that's the only maybe between Ned and SC's defenses. Vidor only managed 13 points on Ned, it should have been a blowout but Ned's o likes to grind it out too. Vidor hasn't seen an interior push all year like the one they're going to see from SC. It's hard to run a fake with the center in the backfield. The interior push didn't bother us as much because we play on the edges, Vidor plays from the center to the slot and can't get on the edges. SC has a safety (#4) that returned a pick on Dayton that is a beast in run support so your going to see 9 or 10 in the box all night. Not seeing where Vidor gets their 30 or how they keep SC under 40.
You will not push our center to the back field. I can guarantee you that. You might slow him down on blocking you but our line is one of our best parts. And second go ahead and suck up that safety we beg you to load the box and then try and guess who has the ball as we run past you for a wide open TD. You won't catch montana or justin once they get past you.
Really hope the equipment manager has a lot of "Shout" stain remover, because ole 54's jersey id gonna need it!  ;D
I hope your's has the same because your qb is gonna need some as well.  8)
Did your center have trouble with Brock Pryor? #76 is going to pitch a tent in Vidor's backfield.
Actually no. We have yet to face a line that has man handled our oline. And yes that is including ned's dline.
The 13 points says enough. #76 is better than Pryor or the other tackle anyway and you only managed a couple scores. You gave up 20 to Ned and their grind it out O, SC's offense light years better than Ned's. SC scores fast so it's going to be interesting to see how Vidor does once they punt a couple times. Not having a passing game kills you in the playoffs when you play a team that can score.

About 7 weeks into the season I was reading Willis had a chance, I knew they wouldn't make it either but it was what it was. We tried to scrimmage Mag. West but our players kept running up and down the field so I guess they just abandoned the game situation part. You stay at home with four district losses here and they would surely lose to all four 19-4a playoff teams and play KP for 5th. I'm just saying I would take my 19-4a boys in that one because at least they were competitive, Mag. West was just big and slow.
Willis mathmatically had a playoff chance with 3 games left.  Of course, Humble did too with only two games left.  It wasn't ever going to happen. 14.
We still have to remember that SC has not played a player the like of Montana, who along with Collins are the best atheletes of 20-4A or 19-4A. With Montana being my MVP pick of both district, but if SC plays like they played last Friday, it will be interesting to watch. Gotta go with SC though they are well balanced.
You can't keep saying they're the best athletes of 19 or 20-4a. Montana isn't the baseball player Kaleb Denny is and Collins isn't the basketball player Raelon Singleton is. Singleton is bigger and faster than Collins and Denny is more agile and elusive than Quirante. You have to think, the only good team Montana plays qb for over here is BH and Collins would be a true db. Playmaking ability is what stands out in 19-4a, we have athletes everywhere over here, even CE King. Wait 'til Vidor sees Greg Hogan, he's not big on a lot of schools radar but he will be the best receiver Vidor has seen this year, you have to roll coverage to him and then they backdoor you with Ruffin. We have some awesome athletes over here in 19-4a, I think the bi-district matchups are going to show that. I'd never thought I'd say it but Dayton is actually the only team I see with a .500 chance or better of losing.

Vidor hasn't seen an interior rush all year like the one they're going to see from SC.

These runs are on Dawson, Dayton, BH, GCM, North Forest, and Vidor too, not any scrap. All of his highlights are locked now though, if Crosby has a deep playoff run he's probably going to break the 3500 career yard mark as a junior.
Austin Walter's is good but he's not where Collins is at this moment give him another year who knows he may be better. One year can make a big difference, will you agree?
I definitely agree. I don't think Texas is recruiting him yet and if so not real heavy, and despite what some A&M fans think, the offer from Horns brings you into the big time recruiting wise, not the one from the Aggies. You can check this by comparing offer sheets. I think Collins has some Earl Thomas like qualities and could play safety in the league for a while, I think Austin is just going to be a great college player unless he can grow a couple inches. I'm sure they told Darren Sproles the same thing though. I think LSU, Oregon, OK State, Baylor, and TCU are the schools recruiting him the most, or at least that's what it looked like on his Twitter. I think if he was taller he would be one of the top backs in the country.

Next two weeks we scored 101 points. Just had to let Aston call the new plays for a game. Ask PNG fans how good the twins are, they went off on them last year as sophomores.
Crosby didn't put 63 on anybody in the district, and the 18-4a team they did that to was competing for a playoff spot until late in the season. 22.
Livingston has 4 backs that can take it to the house. They spread it around and have used multiple backs to keep their athletes fresh because they all play defense as well. If this turns into a track meet the Lions win. Will be very interested to see how #40 likes being beat on every play instead of flowing with the zone blocking of 19-4A. Fun to hear how much the BH faithful have bought into the idea that Chevoski Collins is not as good as Sharp, Walter, Denny, Chambers or any of the great athletes in 19-4A. Delusional!!!
Collins is going to Texas, plus my cousin at Texas asked me who Chevoski Collins was last year so that means he's been on UT's radar for while, he was just waiting on the official offer. Collins is Livingston's best athlete so as such they want him to touch the ball as much as possible due to the fact they don't have a Denny, Walter, Chambers, or Sharp on the team, all of which are much more true qbs. BH fans took a page out of my book and put the stats on there to argue their point that their guy is a much more effective QB and they have played much more effective QBS than Collins. Collins is a flat out baller, nobody is arguing that. I think he has the type talent to be in the NFL in three years depending on where his head is at. I also respect Ozen because they have a kid who could be a top 10 pick in Tony Brown. The top 5 teams in this district are 39-11 with 7 of those losses coming to state ranked opponents, nothing delusional about that. All four games are going to be good for their own separate reasons, kind of disappointed I only get to catch two. :'(

Cause if you come at us with just him, not a great game plan. I agree with SC. We gonna beat the brakes off ya...
You need to just think for a moment and realize the cloest thing BH has come to seeing a player the likes of Collins this year was the twins from Crosby. And they are not even close to him or Montana,Mitchelle and Ozen rb Jones. My friend you all are in trouble, and if you think he's all we have, again you are in trouble.
Sharp gets no love ;) Is he better than Sharp too?
So Jones is better than both of the twins but they are both more highly recruited. Collins is a better qb than Walter or Sharp but he's going to Texas to play db, and who the heck is Mitchell? Tony Brown is the most highly recruited player in that district and it's not close. Montana is a good runner, he's one dimensional, that's why he has one td and 4 picks. Quirante is going to play lb or safety in college. Collins is a good DB, that's it. Hopkins is better than jones, and that's not my opinion, that's what they guy that coach on saturday think.  Y'all only have two good offenses in 20-4a, and Livingston isn't one. Look up the kids from 19-4a vs 20-4a, lot of major d1 over here, 20-4a only has about a dozen kids total with rivals pages and it's twice that or more over here. Don't speak from the heart, speak with the facts.
 24.
Yea, Livingston beat Manor in the 1st round the year we lost to Dayton in the 3rd round With Harris as our QB in his Junior year.
Manor is the type team that makes me nervous. 2 winning seasons in about the last decade. Kids are going to be extremely hungry. Last time we played a team like that we were unexpectedly shooting jumpers. I mean, we did go 14-0 in the district in basketball last season but schools hang their hats on gridiron success. Ozen and Manor could be more difficult than a possible future third round matchup with GCM. Got a break in the bracket and a bunch of speed to go with it. Oh well, guess that's better than having a combined 30-0 SC, Dawson, and Georgetown in the bracket.
 25.

OK, I looked on USNEWS to get those stats. They rank all aspects of the school. This must be pretty old then. [Hidden Content] Y'all have an inner city school feel like a North Forrest or Ozen and should be pretty fast but when I looked at the team highlights for the year I only saw few for the offense. I didn't check on the non-playoff teams besides Bastrop though. I notice y'all play two or three qbs, why is that? Also, is Tyrone Owens the feature back or had a few good games? What are the names of your best players and where can I find your team's complete stats? I looked in The Statesman but they don't have complete stats.
??? Does this mean we are black and quick???? -We Play two QB's because last year we lost our QB and the backup wasn't ready. -Owens has been steady all year. We finally decided we can run near the end of the year. -No one really stands out above the others. Just a very solid football team. Load the box, we will throw all day. Drop back in coverage and we will run it down your throat. Definately will take avantage of what you give us. -Can't find stats anywhere. I've seen maybe three box scores in the paper all year.
If that's how you want to put it, then yes. Teams with mostly brothers are usually pretty fast, just the way it is. Doesn't mean they will be good though. Teams like Ozen we're playing round one, North Forest, CE King often, and those Forest Brook teams we used to play are dangerous no matter the record or stats because they have an overwhelming number of players that can change the game based on their athleticism. Sometime you have good teams with players that aren't real dynamic so you don't get the big individual stat numbers, instead you get good team numbers that reflect your record. I just didn't see any big individual or team stat numbers and the film showed some solid athletes so I was wondering why?
