I’ve said all along that IMO Bush is the best player in our area. Should be an interesting district match up. Silsbee seems to continue to lose players off this years squad which makes it tougher on Bush.

Kelly is down this year. I saw them earlier in the year at the HJ tournament. They looked to be real young.

They have to understand a few things, first where he’s coming from and second how long it will take the kids to buy in . I’d be willing to bet there are some kids walking the hall in Kirbyville that would be able to help the program. He will get these type players in the gym eventually. I’d be willing to bet he’s forgotten more about the game of basketball than those complaining about how he coached.

Very true. Travis will get Kirbyville turned around. Not sure how long it will take but the fan base needs to get on board.

I watched him at HJ this past weekend, he definitely gives them a physical presence down low. When they had him, #11 and Hefner on the floor at the same time they created matchup nightmares.

Nederland is playing good basketball right now. Their size is a match up nightmare for a lot of teams. That advantage won’t be so noticeable against West Brook but will be a factor against Silsbee

I don’t know what all the residency discussion is about but the UIL policy is pretty well cut and dried. I hope for the players sake everything that is supposed to be done has been done. Good basketball is a lot more fun to watch than running clocks and blow outs. Let’s tip it off and let the kids play.

Always very well prepared. They got some shooters as usual. They are going to be a factor in the path to the regional tournament.
