I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the clubs go in to the district with Huffman after the reorg. I hope not because of the travel. -

Yes sir it is. -
Silsbee didn’t play bad basketball last night. They didn’t shoot the “3” very well but the Raiders were really off from behind the arc. Both clubs were unconscious from the FT line shooting over 80%. After the 1st quarter The Tigers adjusted nicely to doubles on Bush and Martin stepped up and took over . Not sure about the “ I don’t see Silsbee having another game like this “, they didn’t play bad last night and won by 7.

Jekyll and Hyde it looks like this year. They have lost to teams by 50 and the next meeting by 5. I haven’t had a chance to watch em this year, I surprised at this score after seeing how EC handled em last week.

Is the post player still on the team? He was sent to the locker room last week and I wasn’t sure if he’d been removed from the team or not. The LCM coach deserves tons of credit, he has this club at 4-2 at the midway point of the district schedule and I for one didn’t expect that. I enjoy the antics of the shirt nights, it’s getting the spectators involved. -
Not sure about all the team meetings and parents involvement etc. , I tend to think all that stuff is blown way out of proportion. The game is coached on the sideline and played on the court. The difference in this one was hustle and inside play. McClure dominated the game on the boards and in the paint. The Raiders were 3/24 from behind the arc . If they shoot it respectable they win this game. I don’t know what the 2nd half of the district schedule looks like yet as far as home and away games but I think the Raiders are 2-4 and tied for the 4th playoff spot with WOS. Coach Mitchell does a great job, especially with defenses and time management, he’s never been the problem with the Raiders.

Central Heights led by 15 at the half ??? -
He had a great game tonight. He was unconscious in the first quarter. He could of used a breather late in the first or early in the second. Him and #20 kept the Raiders within striking distance . I’ve always said he was a good ball player but not the 2nd best in the district.
-
Good question, I was wondering the same thing
-
Spot on!! The Raiders best player according to some on the board is #24, if this is true he’ll most likely be matched up against the Tigers Martin. I have to give the decided edge to Silsbee in that matchup. Head to head the rest of the matchups aren’t close. I don’t think progress reports will affect either club.

I had heard Buna’s post player hurt a knee, that’s going to hinder them when they go to Kountze.
-
A match up nightmare for the Raiders. This one isn’t close. Tigers by 18. I’ll say 68-50.
-
Thank ya sir
-
Sure glad to hear that. I hated to see the young man injured.

Lots of new faces in the corral this year. They are lite years ahead of where they have been the past few years. I did see a post player removed from the bench midway through the second half. The Horns could have used some help in that regard. The difference in this one looked to be in the post play. -
Does anyone from Warren go to basketball games anymore??
-
And that one is at EC which is another topic of its own

Amen !! -
It’s all about matchups. EC has a kid that was injured during football season that hadn’t came back anywhere near 100% and when Caesar goes out they lose their catalyst.

I haven’t seen Hefner play in about a month but the last time I saw him he was still a little hesitant on his knee. He will use a completely different skill set as an Aggie than he has to use this year as a Bulldog. I hope he builds up a little before he hits the floor in the SEC , they got some bangers in that conference. -

I never did see a stat line on this one. I believe the Hawks were 4-13 from the line which is a dagger in a close ballgame.
