Nederland is not anywhere near a "attractive" job. It's a good job yeah I'll give to you. But Great? I wouldn't go there. Below average facilities, with poor support to get bonds passed, Good ole boy system still going strong in the school district, once out of 3 years you will have a great HS player that goes to a major D1 program that everyone hangs there hat on. Other then that Nederland is average. Before Neumann we were nothing. Take his resume away and Nederland is virtually nothing except for the 50s runs with Bum Phillips. If it honesty wasn't for the Bum Phillips Bowl/MCM Nederland wouldn't get any attention at all around the whole state.

Matt Burnett became head of field supervisor job or something like that. Which I believe he Is no longer that now. BF got the AD and head coaching gig the day he stepped onto the reservation.

Simmons D is always salty. Cinco doesn't get the premiere players because they go to Katy. But They are undersized it seems like and not the biggest or the fastest but they play great technique football and coached extremely well. Very much like a certain bulldog team I know...

Because most coaches are head coaches in other sports and D Spell knows he will be gone in the next few years due to retirement. You don't see everyday a o line coach a D.C. and a O.C. all apply at the school to take over as head coach and a O Line coach gets it over the other two.

I believe he gets the Brook job. He knows the district and he did more with less at Ozen just imagine what's he can do with those brook players after making a deep playoff run. They would be in great hands with Nelson

Nelson is wanting to get back to Head Coaching job bad I see he applies for a lot of places these past few years. He was turning the Ozen program around and then they dumped him if they would have stuck with him they wouldn't have had some playoff teams

Chad Simmons is a great candidate, with his boss (a Nederland grad) lobbying the job for him Don Clayton class of 75. Simmons has produced some great Defenses

So I was informed several teams in the area are forming for tyfa league. A mid county gators team like old glory times. And a Beaumont Bullfrogs. I know there is a Orange Colts team and a PA little Titans. I was hoping someone had information on it would love to get my boys in it so they can see competition outside stjfl and grow into better football players

Neumann, Delbert Spell Defensive coordination and David Crommett O line coach all put in for retirement from what I am hearing. Bryan spell is head coach of Baseball. He won't take the football head coach job his dream job was baseball head job. Interesting name to watch out a old defensive coach from early 2000s Ricky Matt he is the D.C. At San Antonio Judson and his son (Ross Matt) is Safeties Coach at Judson he was at WOS for a year or two coaching DBs. They have family and have lots of ties here.
