Was told they tried to to have some what of a practice yesterday but only had 8 kids

For sure sucks for the kids! And You would think he’d know how bad that would look on an ad to have to forfeit a football season from not having enough players to field a team or him coming in and his second year as ad boys sports “besides b-ball” is in the dump , I mean the numbers are there obviously they got moved up and now your playing a state ranked team at times with 10 players on the field? If they have say 2 players at any point this season get hurt their footballs over, they have more cheerleaders than they do football players, heck highisland had way more kids suited up than WH did... it’s not just football either like I said I another post a week or so back they had zero boys in powerlifting and if track wouldn’t have been canceled they wouldn’t have even been able to put a relay team together and WH “usually” competes very well in both powerlifting and track....it’s sad really

Boys still played but lost a rb/DL and a lineman and coach an hour or two before the game due to Covid, they suited out 13 kids and played some of the game with 10 players on the field when a back needed a quick brake they would put a wr at qb and put the qb in the backfield , SA only played starters for most of the first half but could have scored 100 if they wanted too and started running clock towards the end of 2nd. Don’t know what’s going to happen with that little oiler team cause two more freshman kids are getting pulled off the teams by parents but as of right now the coach’s and players are preparing to continue on and show up with the ones that want to play even if it’s with 10, but seems like Covid just Hit there pretty hard so who knows... anyways SA 49. I don’t think your wrong buddy basketball seems to be the only sport wh isn’t losing numbers in year by year, I mean They didn’t even have 1 boy in powerlifting last year and had a pile of Them the previous year and a lot of them are still in school up there so why didn’t they participate? Idk what’s going on over there but like I said in my other post boys athletics are slim.

Yes sir I think it had a little to do with it I was told there were a few kids that are decent ball players (1 that has started V since a freshman)that were able to keep their summer jobs not having to go back to school so that’s what they decided, other than that idk boys athletics are dwendling down year by year. Girls teams are stacked tho lol.

Don’t know much about HD yet but WH is hurting this year, their young and injurys are taking a toll they only had 15 kids dressed out against warren and The ones that play don’t come off the field and skilled positions have no back ups, was told it was 0-0 up until right before half with Kountze and I think they said 14-0 at half with Warren so not too bad but after half they come back out it look like they played 3 games back to back just burnt out and it just got bad quick from there , looks like it’s going to be a long rough season for them boys

I see 2-3 that support/take up for their team as everyone on this forum does I very rarely see anyone from that area talking mess or have were great attitude cause it seems most people over there know the fact they are a weak team in a weak district but I’m not saying I don’t miss a lot on here cause I don’t just follow wh every weak al I was getting at there’s game that yea there’s trash talking between teams and turns in to bashing wh and hey that all good but not when it comes down to them playing someone like Mart and everyone sees and opportunity to jump on little on wh when like I said that’s like doing that to Sabine pass burkeville cols. I mean there’s no point in it. As far as honest Oiler if they win he’s quite if they lose he’s on her bashing

A team like Mart putting 81 on a team like WH is trashy period. Especially when it’s 55-14 before half wh has the ball just trying to keep a drive alive to run the clock out (running qb sneak every play with a back up qb) and Marts coaches using all their timeouts so they can get the ball back and put one more in before half “very classy right”... ok so mayb just put one more in and make it 62-14 at half and come out playing just the 2s the second half but nooopppeee 1st teams still playing in the 3rd that’s when it becomes trashy, I’m all for a team rolling in to post season making a statement but that’s a little unnecessary that would be like west Hardin rolling in doing that to Sabine pass.. and yes if the 2s would have been in after the half and been scoring it would have been different but they weren’t. Also about evadale, Lovelady, and grapeland, let any of them play Mart that would be the end of them also, hell HD, shelbyville, groveton, West Sabine ain’t none of them gonna give Mart a game either but the hype about evadale they ain’t nothing but a wh with 1-2 extra athletes so to put them with grapeland and LL don’t make any sense I hoped they were gonna play with Dawson last night like everyone thought but really I knew the wouldn’t they got lucky last year in the PO’s catching teams like frost if not they a one and done too. I just can’t seem to understand how it’s the same 3-4 people on here always talking down on Wh , that is the weakest district in SETX football and that’s who y’all choose to talk down on every week and when there playing teams like Mart that nobody in that district or even the district with hd , WS, groveton etc. could play with besides mayb SA I mean really y’all act just as trashy as Mart played the other night especially you honest Oiler if your really from that area acting towards them the way you do you must have played on one of the teams that barely won a game and was getting picked on by these guys on here. But with that said I will say that was supposed to be a better WH team that they’ll get every 6-7 years or so but seemed like the new coaching staff coming in killed that so y’all will get another good chunk of years to pick on the poor kids of WH! Thankfully it’s just them I’m surprised y’all don’t dog, dis and put down colmesniel and burkeville

They got some size , fast, athletic and well disciplined as a team.. they have a pretty good number of kids if any kids ply both ways it’s very few. They have a lot of talent both sides of the ball and they won state last year in whatever division they play in. If I’m correct that school is one of them “started by ex pro ball player schools” Are they Newton caliber not quite, i don’t think it will be a blow out but I could be wrong either way newton gets the W!

HF the real deal..no... but improving and getting better each year.. definitely! Silsbee will be a toss up on who wants it most, WOS will be a loss for them and they should go a couple rounds in the playoffs maybe 2.. hopefully more but it’s good to see them being competitive and winning games again!!

WOS by a close one, either way will be one of the best games played Friday night!

WH by a few ,,,., west Hardin’s whole year last year was carried on the back of one little sophomore RB and now from my understanding there is him pluse 2 or 3 more in the back field that at any given moment getting the ball are dangerous, West Hardin has been down the past years but this year seems hd is down, with that being said I was also told WH had 5 unsportsmanlike penalty’s against them against acadiana 3 of which brought TD’s back and that’s an easy way to loose a game, this is always a hard fought game between both schools but WH takes it this year I think they just got a little better “horses in there stable” with a little more experience where it matters

What’s so funny about it? A team full of 10th and 11th graders on both sides playing each other and was a good game Jv doesn’t mean nothing with a school 3 times the size of another..not taking anything away from Lumberton jv cause they have a lot of dang good athletes but west Hardin Hardin only has a couple, the team is young most the kids only being there 2nd year to play on a varsity team.. i mean there 3 top starting players are sophomores. I understanding was a jv vs varsity but in that situation it was young kids playing against young kids.

WH needs to step it up lovelady was one thing no complaint there yes they could of played better and made it a closer game but that was a T.E.A.M they will go far this year,now last night still not seeing tha WH team that started tha this season west sabine was absolutely nothing we couldnt of competed wit and last night idk wat else to say bout it but wake up get ready for tha rest of tha season it ain't over yet and I I wont is to see a team out of tha first round of tha playoffs and letting one player (#5)make a high light film against u like it was a practice ain't gonna do it I can't imagine wat tha score would of been if WS would of had 2 or 3 more good backs,watch film study teams ahead and linebackers stay home I know u have ur drops....cut back,,,,counter,,,,trap,,, practice it
