  1. Yep. The lesser of 2 evils for sure. I just like to gripe sometimes, ok? 😎
  2. I agree with that too.
  3. Dude. They’re not missing if they were never there.
  4. I don’t know if anyone is bothered by it. Dude was just saying that the 1 transfer for LCM not playing was the same excuse for subpar performance that Lumberton was using having several established starters injured on both sides of the ball. I was just pointing out how wrong he was.
  5. I think Cody may have gotten passed up.
  6. I do too. But at some point you have to decide what’s best for the party and the country and do it. Otherwise, we could be having this same discussion 6 months from now.
  7. The Republican party needs to get their "stuff" together. This entire debacle proves that the party is not united and in disarray. Crap or get off the pot. It's embarrassing.
  8. Yawwwwn... Who did y'all say was playing?
  9. Not to mention that those 2 that we were missing were actually a part of the team that contributed quite a bit before the injuries; not some transfer that's never contributed one bit.
  10. Nope. You were wrong then and you're wrong now. And please don't join an officiating crew/chapter. You will bring a new low to officiating in SE Texas!
  11. Give PNG some less talented athletes, and let's see how they do. It's a combination.
  12. Unless, of course, it's Donald J. ! Lol.
  13. But what if that mule identifies as a horse? Lol. Hell, it works for men in women's sports! Sorry, I couldn't resist...
  14. I wonder if you could get some clarification from your friend Chad about the extension of play after time expired. It's really a pretty interesting topic.
  15. Lmao. Not really. Too many rules and too many goofy people trying to argue the facts. Most of my "discussion skills" come from being married.
  16. Extension of Periods ARTICLE 3. a. A period shall be extended for an untimed down if one or more of the following occurs during a down in which time expires (A.R. 3-2-3-I-VIII): 1. A penalty is accepted for a live-ball foul(s) (Exception: Rule 10-2-5- a). At the option of the offended team, the period is not extended if the foul is by the team in possession and the statement of the penalty includes loss of down (A.R. 3-2-3-VIII). 2. There are offsetting fouls. 3. An official sounds their whistle inadvertently or otherwise incorrectly signals the ball dead. b. Additional untimed downs will be played until a down is free of the circumstances in statements 1, 2 and 3 of Rule 3-2-3-a (above). c. If a touchdown is scored during a down in which time in a period expires, the period is extended for the try (Exception: Rule 8-3-2-a). If the official incorrectly signaled the ball dead, then an untimed down is appropriate. That's the rule that has me curious. I don't know if that's happened one way or the other. I'm merely stating contrary to our riled up little bulldog that there are other circumstances for an extended period after time has expired (see above). @Dirty_but_Dazzling, you clearly stated the only reason for an untimed down was for a defensive penalty. You were wrong. Own it. Sorry to break it to you, but you can't have it both ways. You can't be right and wrong at the same time. You also said "NO TIME = END OF GAME". Wrong again mama...
  17. Please don't argue with him. He knows better than anyone else. Plus he'll lock the topic and hide if you keep trying to explain yourself.
  18. That was never an issue... so why are you complaining and spewing false rules and hiding from the responses? Lol. You're so silly.
  19. EXACTLY!!!!!!
  20. I already schooled you on the thread you locked up. Do you need me to do it again? Know the rules before you try to incorrectly apply them...
  21. Cmon CB, you know it's more like 48/40/12... A blind man can see it.
  22. 100% correct. But as good of a coach as one may be, you are limited with your success based on the tools in the tool belt. You can't build a house with a hammer but no nails.
  23. There are times when an extension of play is allowed. Defensive penalty as you stated. Extra point after a touchdown is another reason for an extension after time has expired. Offsetting fouls in some circumstances can extend the play. Inadvertent whistle is another reason. An official sounds their whistle inadvertently or otherwise incorrectly signals the ball dead. There are a few other reasons too. I can look them up for you. You said “NO TIME = END OF GAME(unless it's a defensive penalty on the play)” You were wrong then and you are wrong now. It’s not a debate. Sorry you were wrong.
  24. I’m neither, and you are wrong.
  25. Exactly.
