There are times when an extension of play is allowed. Defensive penalty as you stated. Extra point after a touchdown is another reason for an extension after time has expired. Offsetting fouls in some circumstances can extend the play. Inadvertent whistle is another reason. An official sounds their whistle inadvertently or otherwise incorrectly signals the ball dead. There are a few other reasons too. I can look them up for you. You said “NO TIME = END OF GAME(unless it's a defensive penalty on the play)” You were wrong then and you are wrong now. Why is he out?

I’m no head coach, but in my opinion, I would gain a healthy lead then start putting in 2’s by the 4th quarter. Keep everyone healthy, and get some reps to some guys you may have to lean on down the stretch. For that reason I think it would be closer. Plus for some reason, LCM has always been a thorn in Lumberton‘s side. You never know when it comes to that matchup.
