  1. It’s a real concern for everyone. But I’m wondering...what did people do about healthcare before Obamacare. I worked for a company that offered insurance. They paid a portion of it and I paid the majority of it. It was an excellent plan including dental, vision, and other coverage above and beyond the average medical plan. It cost me about $90 a week to cover my family - 5 of us in total. Fast forward - now I pay almost $300 a week, no dental, no vision, a deductible and out of pocket that has doubled AND there’s only 3 of us. It literally costs me per person the same that it costed me for the whole family before Obamacare drove insurance prices to an unbearably high level.
  2. Yep. You’re right. It’s ALL THE OTHER SCHOOLS that are wrong...
  3. I don’t think anyone’s crying. I just think it would be prudent to move the game to Thursday like every other team in the district. Doesnt make much sense. Although Livingston didn’t get much rain last time, we lost power for several days here in Lumberton. Plus you got bus loads of kids on the road in a storm. Honestly, I’d rather go to a Friday night game too. Unless, of course, I have to worry about my Senior making a senseless trip in a hurricane. I guess my big question is why not move the game like everyone did for safety’s sake? It’s a fair question.
  4. Lol. Honestly they know Lumberton throws a lot and a wet field will help their chances. Not a stupid move if it doesn’t put anyone in danger driving through a hurricane. We shall see.
  5. FYI, Vidor said they’ll be selling tix at the gate Thursday night.
  6. That’s silly.
  7. I just spoke to the Livingston field house. They said it’s still on for Friday. They said they don’t expect much more than an inch of rain. Lol. What a dumbarse. Lol. They said, if we have to reschedule we can always play Saturday or Monday per UIL.
  8. I doubt we will have flooding on Thursday, but there’s a 70% chance of rain on Friday the whole night. They get our whole gang to go up there on buses, call the game off and send them packing home, then replay the next day around 1 which means another bus ride there and back. It’s either that, or they want to avoid the game altogether.
  9. I’d like to go see Splendora vs Vidor on Thursday if Lumberton still plays Friday. How do I get tickets?
  10. Lol. Sure they do.
  11. I don’t get it. Be a lot safer for the kids and coaches and families. Most the other local schools have seen fit to change. That’s a long drive in that kinda weather. One of you Lion fans know of any reason not to change? Maybe there’s a good reason to put lives in danger. Unless they’re scared and want to avoid the game altogether.
  12. Yeah, Livingston refuses to change. Forcing the Raiders to drive in the potential storm. Real classy...but what do you expect.
  13. Livingston coaches won’t allow game to be moved up to Thursday due to the storm, so Lumberton forced to whip their butt in the rain on Friday. In a related story, umbrella sales hit an all time high at the Livingston Walmart.
  14. It quit being a “personal matter” when she shared it with over 13 million Twitter followers. That girl nasty too.
  15. My thoughts on SillyWilly, DontheCon, etc. who are one and the same. He was trying to get kicked off only to come back reincarnated as another annoying left wing pain in the butt. He likes it. We didn’t get to him, he was ready to go. He even ventured over to the football forum of all places to get noticed. Just my thoughts. I might be way off, but I don’t think so. He’s looking in as a guest as we speak to read his own obituary. Dude has some weird issues.
  16. Pot stirred. Lol.
  17. Typical
  18. Apparently you do SillyWilly! 😂
  19. I don’t disagree. Not one bit.
  20. He picked the wrong sacrifice to make his point. He was still on their property. He knew the consequences, right or wrong, and he took a stand at those kid’s expense. I don’t agree with what the school made him do either. But I’m not gonna sacrifice all those kids’ win because I wanna be a jackass.
  21. If I’m being honest, he was probably referring to coming back to that location in 4 years to campaign for his second term as well, but it’s a stupid comment to say since it can be construed as many things. He doesn’t get it. That’s one of many issues I have with him.
  22. I’m not sure. I think he’s brown though.
