  4. Again, to confirm, the game will be held in Zavalla. The game was originally slated for West Sabine High School in Pineland but WSISD pulled out of hosting the game, switching the game to Zavalla.
  5. That's funny. I don't recall Jordan Wilson designating you as the arbiter of what is and is not appropriate for this board.
  6. When such a move means you don't have to fight with the North Shores of the world it is. If Sterling does not have 6A participation numbers, doesn't a plan that puts them in 5A benefit them that much more?
  7. The Evadale Lady Rebels take the next step in their 2018 2A playoff journey tonight as they take on the Timpson Lady Bears! Robert Hollyfield's Lady Rebels, now 29-8 on the season, reached this round with a 76-41 win over Lufkin Pineywoods Academy in the bi-district round. The Lady Bears, 25-9 on the season, defeated Neches 44-27 to reach this point. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Colmesneil/Woden area round game which will be contested tonight in Lufkin. 8. The final playoff spot out of District 22-4A is on the line tonight as the Bridge City Cardinals take on Orangefield Bobcats in a 1 game playoff for the district's #4 seed. Larry Sterling's Cardinals finished the regular season with a 12-17 record and a 3-7 district mark. Meanwhile, Jake McDonald's Bobcats finished the regular season with a 16-16 mark and identical 3-7 district mark. The Cardinals took a 58-56 overtime win in Bridge City on January 23rd, while the Bobcats took last Friday's contest in Orangefield, 52-47. The winner of this game will face Shepherd, the District 21-4A champion in bi-district play next week. 9. Perhaps.....but if you look at Memorial's history, the following fact is undeniable. No coach, even the hallowed Ronnie Thompson, ever took the Titans as far as Kenny Harrison did, despite these coaches having the same level of talent that Harrison had. That the next head coach may take Memorial "to the next level" is a reasonable hope, but perhaps an unreasonable expectation.
  10. Sorry about not getting this up earlier, guys. Just got back from the doc.
  11. I'll tell you what I told the Titan faithful, be careful what you ask for.
  12. Be careful what you ask for.
  13. I think that is going to be announced at the BISD board meeting tonight
