  1. Actually, my sources tell me that the game will be hidden in plain sight... ...at the Reservation. I heard that Coach Barrow wants his players to get more accustomed to artificial turf.
  2. The posting is only for the head coach position, I confirmed that with the Hardin ISD super.
  3. Given that the issue was discussed in executive session, I didn't inquire as he probably wouldn't have been able to mention anything.
  4. I exhanged emails with Hardin ISD superintendent Gerald Nixon regarding the posting. He did confirm that the posting on the Hardin ISD site is for a head football coach only. Currently, Coach Randy Snell (Softball Head Coach) is currently handling the AD duties. Mr. Nixon gave no indication whether this was an interim or permanent move.

  10. This man always knows the right answer. Thanks, Bobcat!
  11. Okay, folks. I while I appreciate the enthusiasm approaching mid-season form, the name calling needs to stop. BTW, has Coach Haynes indeed been dismissed. Aside from the tweet that started this thread, no other press has been devoted to this. Now, I know that Hardin sports is outside the jurisdiction of the Enterprise, KFDM and KBMT, but I have not heard a peep from the Chronicle nor has Matt Stepp at Texas Football reported anything. I know that as part of the agenda of the latest Hardin ISD school board meeting, which was on Monday, that the board was to discuss "discipline" against Coach Haynes. But the minutes haven't been posted and I haven't seen any reports of action one way or the other.
  12. Unless another staff member took it down, this thread hasn't been touched because I know I haven't. And no staff member has indicated to me that they did.
  13. No offense was taken. What offends me is the boys from Wuhan getting on the site. Their team is really not that good.
  14. Don't worry, the story that I chose does not play the video.
  15. Yeah, we are aware of the spate of Oriental spam that has occurred lately. I have been in contact with our web guy and hopefully there is a solution to the issue soon.
