Total yards for both teams was pretty close.....425 -375 or so.....I believe Shug rushed like 42 times for close to 300 yds.

As effective as he is and was, look at how much better he could be if the football was put into someone else's hands. I will agree with Simmons not being on the same level as some of the backs youve mentioned but, his numbers dont lie. Also think Ned will arguably be the most balanced attack the Injuns have faced. If Simmons rolls, this will be a good one.

Imo, Simmons role will be a big factor in this game. If he cant be contained,this could go down to the wire.

Hats off to Faircloth.. he is as good an offensive mind as any in this area...One heck of a Qb coach. He's also a stat guy, look at the numbers.... at some point leaving your starting qb in the game when the outcome has been decided proves this... The Indian spirit could run the O when you're up by 30....

For what its worth... Its early. Speaking for myself, I havent been to anything involving Ned football this yr. So I dont have much to add. With that being said, there are many who would love to see us falter.....I will wait and post when I have firsthand knowledge, not what someone has heard.Good luck to all and ....Im ready for some HS football!!!
