No doubt the facilities at Ned could use some upgrades....I have to think the field is in bad shape due to the saturating rain's we've received. I will say this...Ned coaching staff does as much with less than anyone around.
I can see playing him on D in certain critical situations..... but going both ways is a no-no imo.... he definitely shoulders too much load already....
With all due respect, the jimmys and joes werent there defensively for the Injuns...They had the most talented guy on the field everytime they suited up,on offense......But after that, well,,,it is what it is...
Gotta agree.....Pulling for the Injuns, just think CS will be too much. They appear to be good on doth sides of the ball. Surely they will try to slow the pace, and run the football to keep Shug off the field... Good luck Injuns!!!!
And to think, he was hardly used last year. I remember seeing him on special teams , and it seems early in the yr on D a little. And thinking to myself, why isnt he on the field? In most of his matchups with db's he is just a physical mismatch. When the ball is in the air........its his.....
Tough row to hoe for the Injuns. If my research is correct, CS has pitched 6 shutouts. 2 losses, Westlake and St. Pius. Pulling for the Injuns but CS takes this one.
Surely this is a joke....Nothing said on this message board will factor into Friday night. The skinny is this, there's no quick fix for the D........The Injuns will go as far as Shug will take them. With that said,Go Injuns , and Dogs!!!!!!!
