Agree to disagree.....the recipe is not out there. And the main reason they got back into the game, is simply due to the fact that the refs let them play in the 2nd half. Just to be clear.....not once have you heard me say that Silsbee is not good or talented. I have tons of respect for them, and earned a little more in the way they played at State.

I think that Silsbee got exposed against Lincoln. The only question is who has the coaching and players to execute and beat them? Not too many in my opinion.

Missing FT's is a part of the game. Besides Lincoln missed more than Silsbee. Both teams shot in the low 60% range from the line. In fact Lincoln was 40% in 2nd half.

This is the best Silsbee team I have seen since the days or Holden and Arline. However, I would not classify them as great. Great teams have won titles and set records. They are a extremely good team though.

-13 with Devon +10 without Devon Emotion, Lincoln playing not to lose and refs letting the Tigers do what they do best is what got the Tigers back in the game. I also give tons of credit to Newton, he played great in that 2nd half.

I was really surprised to see Silsbee get away from their depth. Other than Grubbs and Newton that 2nd group never saw the floor in the 2nd half.

Other than the coach we have at HJ, there is not a person in SE Texas that I would rather have making decisions than Brian English. Guy is a genius on the court!!! Accept the fact that maybe the talent this year is down a bit and move on. Nederland and English will be back making deep runs in the playoffs.
