1. A&m Comsolidated beats College Park 35-28 in OT.
2. It doesn't appear that either team has played a difficult schedule.  And how did Alto lose by 20 to Groveton?  I'll lean with W Sabine in this one.
3. NF will be the only school to win every game by at least 40 points.  The  District is beyond weak and unfortunately will not prepare NF for the playoffs.  I don't see them going very far.
4. Rudder can score but they don't have much for defense.  Brenham should easily be able to put up 40 points in this one.
5. Pretty neat.  2 of the 5 playoff eliminated 4A teams in the State of Texas are in 19-4A.  I'll have to check this site each week for the updates when they become a little more meaningful.
6.
Dayton 52 Porter  14
How is Porter going to score 14 against a state ranked team?  This is a shutout after 12 quarters if they played all day long.
7. "On paper, Porter looks to be able to present a problem for the Broncos with their running game."  That has to be the funniest thing I have read in a while.
8.
After watching porter I dont see how their qb has thrown for 1200 yds. Against bh he had time to throw and was not even close on most of his passes. Maybe he was just off but it looked like he was just throwing the ball up for grabs.
Because Porter throws over 40 times per game and has played below average or dreadful competition prior to BH.  Probably a lot of yards in blowout games, and against teams like Humble and Caney Creek who don't have defenses.
9.
That is correct. More than likely Navasota will be going D2. It looks like Navasota, Coldspring and La Marque will all be playing in the bottom half of the region 3 bracket...
Wow folks.  Navasota, WOS, Coldspring, and LaMarque all headed to D2!  What a tough regional that's going to be.
10. 49-0 at the half.  Dayton will then send out the JV for the 2nd half.  56-0.
11. Magnolia West doesn't look that good anymore.  If Magnolia hadn't turned the ball over 4 times, West could have easily lost that game.  I think Huntsville takes them this Friday.  As far as Montgomery-Willis, I look for Montgomery 35-14.
12. Waller still has a chance to make some noise.  We still could be looking at a 3 way tie for the 4th spot if Waller can knock off Mag West in the last game.
13. That sounds about right.  I will say 41-10
14. Looks like Huntsville is the only team left with a shot to knock off Brenham.
15. Waller wins 44-14
16. Still not the year to defeat Brenham
17. Huntsville game now final 47-13
18. Huntsville 47 Caney Creek 13  3rd Qtr Waller  30  Bryan Rudder 7  Half
19. Wow.  Some wild predictions here.  Corrigan should win the District and I expect them to roll here 33-7.
20. Pretty impressive stats.  You sure y'all weren't playing Caney Creek or something?
21. I hear Caney Creek has won, so it looks like they escape the 18-4a cellar.
22.

I agree 100%.  I think the Top 4 will stay that way.  Big Games: Oct 12    Brenham @ Montgomery    For 1st place Oct 19    Huntsville @ Mag West      For 3rd place    By the way, another big game coming up this weekend: Magnolia @ Caney Creek for all the marbles.  I'll take Magnolia.
Huntsville @ Brenham is also a big game, November 2nd.
Yea, I think if Huntsville can defeat Mag West and come into this game 5-1 in District, then the Hornets have a chance to defeat Brenham.  Huntsville will have to play a complete game with very few mistakes to win it.  At times, Huntsville seems to self destruct with turnovers, penalties, etc.  You might be able to get away with that against Caney Creek or Magnolia, but not against Brenham. Last year, Huntsville turned the ball over 6 times in the 1st half, assisting Brenham with a 44-7 halftime lead that ended in a 65-16 blowout.
