Its not turf, but saw that Huffman is also making some upgrades to their facilities.

Yeah this was a topic of conversation last year at the coaches convention in Waco. The larger classifications have been doing it throughout the state for a few years now. I like the idea personally. You see more of what you would likely see in a playoff series.

KJ Miller (Wos)
December 27-30 he will be in Bradenton Florida @ The Baseball Factory UA Camp/Tournament...He will play against some of the Best Players in the Country while receiving professional training...He also will be auditioning to seeing if he will be a UA All American.....If chosen a UA All American he will play in the UA All American Game @ Wringly Field in June
Lamar needs to just go ahead and grab him for football and baseball. He is a special talent in both sports.

Bridge City 7th grade capped off an 8-0 undefeated season. Outscored opponents 258-34. Only allowed 3 offensive scores and two returned kickoffs.

Heard BC claimed at least a share of district title tonight. When was their last one?

I know Navasota has many of their baseball games broadcast so I would assume they would do football as well especially with their recent history.

The way I understand it, it is a new rule that was passed fairly late so the officials are having to get used to it. Yes the official on the sideline should have thrown his flag, but the head official did the right thing. Not much different than waiving a flag off. Just get the call right.

Helps some in the fact that Little League implemented similar pitch counts a few years back so the kids are already used to it. Just gives more kids the chance to get on the bump. Coaches job will to just have more of them ready to compete.
