I am expecting the Burkeville at High Island and Sabine Pass at Deweyville games scheduled for Friday to be moved to Saturday.

I was on the sidelines for this up until the 7 minute mark of the 4th with BC up 34-21. Left to go catch the 2nd half of WO-S/Silsbee game. Never should have left. Porter is a play maker for HJ. Impressive since he has not played football since the 8th grade. I believe this is the most "basketball" players I have seen play football for HJ. Great to see. BC looks very solid. Was a bit surprised they ended up losing this game. Cards pretty much controlled the entire game up until I left with 7 minutes left. Both teams have good chances to make playoffs.

Just an FYI on the penalties last night: 7 personal foul/unsportsmanlike penalties called last night. 5 against WO-S, 2 against Silsbee. 2 ejections, both to WO-S. I think the officials got a little flag happy but I think they were trying to get back control of the game. I honestly think both teams showed their worse side last night. I actually was a little surprised with WO-S. A Cornell Thompson coached team normally doesn't behave like that. Emotions were definitely running high last night for whatever reasons. I am also smart enough to know that the retaliatory person is usually the one that gets flagged.
