Pretty sure racial slurs during a football game has happened before. From both sides. Not excusing the language, but I don't think it's worth investigating or postponing the championship game. Now if it were the officials using that language, then I see cause.

Bush is the best to come out of Silsbee. Numbers back it up. If he was the best in the area last year (which is debatable) then why not get the big Power 5 offers that others got (like Hefner)? But to say he was one of the 10 best to ever come out of Texas, that's just not accurate. Just because you end up #9 all time in scoring in the state, doesn't mean you are a top 10 all time player from Texas. That's my point about Troy House. All time leading scorer in Texas high school history and you never heard of him. I know at least 50 players I would take before him. Again, Bush is fantastic player. No doubt. But got to pump the brakes on being a top 10 player all time out of Texas. Way too many players that are better.

if I were a coach and had to choose a player out the two for my team, I'm taking Jordan Adams over Braelon Bush. That's not taking anything away from Bush. He was phenomenal. Numbers back it up. But the game isn't always about the numbers.

I agree. I love me some Braelon Bush. But just because you score 3000+ points in your high school career doesn't make you a top 10 all time player in the state of Texas. The all time leading score in Texas high school history is Troy House. Who? Yes, Troy House. There are 100's of better players than him that have come out of Texas.

Disagree. McClure is the best player in this district this year. Besides, Miller's future is in football.

LC-M had no answer for McClure and they got beat badly on the boards. Neither team shot it well from 3. Lumberton definitely had better effort on both ends of the floor.

I bet $$$, not for fun. I agree that this is the year to "get" Silsbee and the best player in district isn't a Tiger. But I still have Silsbee winning it. If you are scared, then say it.
