  1. Loved me some Dave. He was a great radio play by. He now does public address at BISD Stadium. I will see him Friday night unless Lumberton has someone else to do PA.
  2. I agree. He's been somewhat held in check the last two games. Hasn't scored a TD in the last two games.
  3. Well, according to my pickems over the last 15 years or so, if I pick a team to win, they have at least a 75% chance to win. 😉
  4. No more a travesty as Lufkin Hudson, a 4A, that doesn't play football. Same with Faith Family.
  5. Or maybe you all are giving those guys too much credit?
  6. Don't dance around it, just say I am wrong. Madisonville beat La Grange in the playoffs by 20. That carries all the weight needed. Madisonville will win because.
  7. The more accurate comparison would be the La Grange game. Give me Madisonville by 6.

  9. Well the Dems will control the senate again with the VP being the tie breaker. Pubs will control the house. So much for the tsunami but at least red gained some in the house. Now if we can just get a candidate for prez in 2024. One that can win that election.
  10. I learned a long time ago when I started my radio broadcast career that you have to be the eyes for your listening audience. A play by play announcer has to be as detailed as possible when doing play by. It's the color commentator job to add flavor and summary of play. It's okay to be "rah rah" when doing a home team broadcast but make sure the game is detailed for the listener. An audio broadcast has to promote the facts of the game more so than the opinion.
