Sabine Pass is looking good. Knocked off two state ranked teams at HI tourney. They will enter the state rankings today. Going to go check them out at the Orange County tourney this week.

Correct. No forfeit. Game goes down as a loss for Orangefield. Austin Prep was removed from tourney so that put Orangefield in championship game. Must have been some really bad stuff for them to get kicked out of the tourney on the second day. Would like to hear some details.

You guys got to let go of some of that old stuff. lol

Orange to Katy 140 miles Sinton to Katy 185 miles

Rhodes (9700) holds more than Randall Reed (8200). Also Randall Reed is not nearly halfway for both teams like Katy. Really the only other stadium that would be a good fit would be Cy-Fair FCU Stadium at Cypress or Legacy Stadium at Katy. Both of those are taken. Maybe Tomball ISD or Ken Hall or Mercer in Sugarland or Freedom in Iowa Colony. Pretty sure Sinton would not agree to any stadium east, southeast, north or northeast of Houston. That takes out several stadiums. Best fit for all is something west or southwest of Houston. That keeps travel pretty even.

Just exactly where do you think the game should be played? I see no problem with Rhodes Stadium. It has hosted several playoff games. Katy is more of a halfway point for both schools.

Seafood gumbo, cold boiled shrimp, BBQ crabs, boiled crab, potatoes, corn, sausage and fried fish.

I'll be spending my New Year's Eve and Day at the beach like always. Won't be far from a TV though.
