I had season tickets for the Gators. Loved Wednesday night games. 50 cent 32 ounce beer night. Draft beer in a 32 ounce souvenir cup (had to purchase the cup for $3, but refills for .50ct) . My kind of night. Think I ended up with over 20 of those cups. lol I remember the Chicken games. Was there for both appearances.

#Astros fans were angry when Dana Brown traded UT Mauricio Dubon for IF Nick Allen. These are their numbers for this season: Dubon: .265 AVG, .317 OBP, .717 OPS ($6.1M) Allen: .297 AVG, .366 OBP, .771 OPS ($1.4M) Its ok to love Dubon and not hate Allen or the deal.

I was told they will most likely promote a current staff member (Turk) to one of the assistant positions and will hire for the other. Silsbee had to let go 3 coaches (1 boys, 2 girls) due to not being certified. District is cracking down on teaching positions that are occupied by "non certified" teachers. They are allowing new hires 2-3 years to get certified. After that, they have to move on. District is trying to maximize their salary dollars. Trying to be more efficient.
