Bridge City has improved, that's a fact!! But what I want to see is what they can do against a a team with a fast, quick defense. I also want to see if they can defend a speedy offense. Can the BC secondary hold up against a strong passing game? I have seen BC twice this season. Scrimmage against Silsbee, game against Orangefield. On the sidelines for both. So I have seen with my own eyes, up close. I just have some doubts what BC could do against some fast, athletic teams. I think they would struggle some. I just don't think they WOULD beat Silsbee, Jasper, HF and WO-S. Could they? Well maybe.

As for predictions, I'll take EC by 24.

Just looked. Hardin already had their homecoming a couple of weeks ago. Thank goodness.

I sure hope not because I will be attending this game. Game is scheduled for Thursday so EC kids can participate in Rice Festival.

Defenses for both played well. A&M stepping up the run game in 2nd half was big. I didn't realize that we had won 12 of the last 13 against the Razorbacks.

Well, in this particular case, it makes no difference.

He is the best I have seen this year for sure.

I was on the sidelines. OL had some troubles. #54 and #44 disrupted many plays. The Hitchcock front 4 was pretty dominant. Silsbee had to play NG #50 Walker both ways to help out on offensive line. Because that front 4 was able to disrupt, that freed up the Bulldog LB's to make plays. Silsbee couldn't get to them to block because of what the DL was doing to our OL.

I will say this, a 100% healthy Silsbee team probably doesn't lose by 32. They would still lose to Hitchcock. Those 4-5 missing pieces last night really showed itself. Tigers get a bye week and will definitely need it going into Hamshire-Fannett. Secondary will have to play better in that game.

I'm going to need @bullets13 to come in here and explain how Hitchcock is not 32 points better than Silsbee. He needs to give us the "what if's" and show how these two teams are much closer and the game was much closer than what the score showed. I just don't have that skill set to explain those type things. LOL
