Oh, I do understand how hard it is to get to the regionals. But, if Silsbee wins district, like I think they will, their road to the regionals is not that tough. Just look at the brackets. As for being able to get to the regional finals 3 years straight, well Silsbee has made the regional finals 3 of the last 4 years, losing by 1 to Diboll, losing to HJ in OT, and then beating HJ by 12 last year. After this season, I believe it will be 4 out 5. No other team in Region 3 has done that over the last 5 years.

That's very good news. I have a Verizon and ATT phone to broadcast with.

The way the cell reception is in the Hawk gym, I am not going to be suprised if I lose connection. I may never get on. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The Silsbee Lady Tigers have been to the state tournament 3 times, making the finals once, and I don't remember them getting much coverage back then.

Okay, this is what we here at Setxsports is going to do to help out the local teams with their coaching vacancies and potential vacancies ; At PNG, Gabe will take over the coaching duites there. LCM, Coop and his brother Chad will be co-coaches Central, BmtSoulja will lead the Jaguars Memorial, SFA85 will take over Ozen(only if the rumor is true) DickyV will take the job if Ozen agrees to let him be the basketball coach after one year. Then your's truely will take over the reigns and change the name back to Hebert, like it should be.

You are right Lazeek. If HJ were to win out they would be the #3 seed. I had thought you guys had 5 losses. I also was more or less suggesting that HJ would go after defeating Silsbee in the regional final, but not necessarily in the 2 district games. That would leave HJ with 6 losses.

She decided to not play this year. Concentrating on track. They really do miss her though. TRACK!!!!! I like this girl. Hardly "NO" kids want to run track. Track is the key, to all sports. If you have a successful track program, you will be good in all sports. Look at history. I knew that would get your blood to pumping, Bleed.(no pun intended) ;D She is the defending Class 3A state champion in the triple jump looking to repeat this year. Bleed, I missed meeting you last Friday night at the boys game. Maybe we can catch up some time.

Looking ahead(and I REALLY don't like doing this) based on my own predictions of who will be in the Final 4, Silsbee would probably face the #1 team in state, Dallas Madison. If all four of these teams win out( rest of district, warm up game, 4 playoff games) the records for these teams would be: Madison 32-3, Burkburnett 32-3, West Oso 32-4, and Silsbee 28-6. That would put Madison and Silsbee in one semi and Burkburnett and West Oso in the other semi. The same would hold true if Hardin-Jefferson went instead of Silsbee. Okay, enough of this dreaming. Back to reality and the rest of the district games. (I am thinking seriously of deleting this whole thread) ;D
