  1. Replay will start in 15 minutes!
  2. I will post each week the official 21-3A team stats for district games only. These stats are courtesy of Maury Salinger, official 21-3A statistician. Also contributing to this is our own MrUmp. Here are the stats after week 1 of district play: Offense rushing/avg passing/avg total/avg points/avg Orangefield 391/391 47/47 438/438 54/54 Silsbee 153/153 86/86 239/239 13/13 Hardin-Jeff 180/180 45/45 225/225 10/10 Bridge City 133/133 62/62 195/195 20/20 Hamshire-Fan 139/139 13/13 152/152 7/7 WOS 56/56 23/23 79/79 7/7 Defense Silsbee 56/56 23/23 79/79 7/7 Orangefield 139/139 13/13 152/152 7/7 Hardin-Jeff 133/133 62/62 195/195 20/20 Bridge City 180/180 45/45 225/225 10/10 WOS 153/153 86/86 239/239 13/13 Hamshire-Fan 391/391 47/47 438/438 54/54
  3. I never corresponded with anyone from TAPPS, via e-mail or phone. I did pm a couple of people on this site after I had gotten some info sent to me. I was asking if they had heard anything. I also sent short a pm letting him know about it. I never asked him for any info. Again, I never dug for any info, it was sent to me without me asking. TAPPS never sent me anything nor did I ever ask them for anything.
  4. Like I said to you before, I never made one phone call or sent one e-mail regarding this issue. All info was sent to me without me asking for it, Walter. "We being good" is nowhere near a concern for me.
  5. Correction on the time the first replay will start. It will start at 1pm instead of 12pm.
  6. Silsbee wins this one and all the rest of district. DOMINATION!!!!! ;D
  7. "Silsbee welcomes Bridge City to the Tiger Homecoming, then treats the Cards like a homecoming opponent, Tigers win 35-0!" "WOS JV finishes off Hamshire-Fannett in running clock game, 60-0" "Orangefield outlasts Hardin-Jefferson, win on last play, 49-45"
  8. I saw where they had Orangefield #93, BC #67. Looks like what is hurting OF is schedule (136) and defense (141), however offense is good (36). Yep, Orangefield and Bridge City's schedule ranks 136 and 133, respectively. Silsbee and WOS ranks 12 and 11, respectively.
  9. Starting today I will be rebroadcasting Silsbee's district games for the rest of the season. Each and every Wednesday starting today and until Silsbee is done with the season, I'll replay their games twice on Wed., starting at 1pm and then again at 7pm. Broadcasts are approximately 3 hours long. I have had some requests from the sponsors and fans who attend these games to have an opportunity to listen to the replay. We will start with the replay of WOS game then next week the Bridge City game, and so on. Just click the link at 1pm or at 7pm to listen to the replay. Enjoy. Silsbee/WOS [Hidden Content]
  10. DOMINATION!!! YOU BEAT ME TOO IT!! ;D
  11. One thing's for sure, this is an excellant week for WOS to try their new offense. HF can barely field a team. Should be an easy night for the Stangs. Speaking of HF, I have recieved some news about those guys that is quite disturbing. I will make a few contacts today to get the scoop on this and let you guys know.
  12. This is a ranking poll. Just like an AP or coaches poll. This is a computerized ranking poll.
  13. I saw where they had Orangefield #93, BC #67.
  14. BO, it looks like it was more than "just paperwork" that has gotten these kids ineligible. : Care to explain why these young men cannot play? The way you put it, it was just a mere formality, just file the proper paperwork so to speak. Would TAPPS be this begrudging just to keep these players from participating EVER in their league just because of some "paperwork"?
  15. Hey bleed, Silsbee is pretty popular these days, aren't they? ;D
  16. Just to follow up what has been posted already: The initial report of school sanction for 3 years was correct..UNTIL they determined that the pre-season events were not covered by TAPPS and the coach for Lutheran North did not coach in any of these events. To repeat, as of right now, no sanctions on Lutheran North High school or Lutheran North Head basketball coach. Only ones effected are the 3 players ruled ineligible. They are not allowed to play in TAPPS ever. IMO, I honestly don't believe you'll see these three players play for Lutheran North this year or any year.
  17. This is Silsbee's Homecoming, the players and coaches will be up for it. Lot's of excitement will be in the air, along with some JJ touchdown passes. ;D
  18. I agree, kicker. Reggie just doesn't look at ease with running this offense. He needs a good running game to take some pressure off him. He also needs some recievers to step up and play football, if you know what I mean.
  19. It looks as though WOS will be going under center and running out of the I or pro set. One and two tightend sets but will sprinkle some shotgun with 3 wideouts occasionally. Look for the Mustangs to run 60-70% of the time from here on out. That's what I know.
  20. Well if it is like at my school..I let my assistant AD handle all paperwork first. That is their first job to do. Most other schools are set up like that as well. I really have no valid point other than most assistant AD's in Houston handle paperwork. Excellant point. Of course BO will say his secretary did the paperwork. :
  21. Tigers will take care of business this week. It's Homecoming, they'll be up for it.
