  1. So his dad Tracy will be coaching against his son later this year. Interesting....
  2. When did I call you a homosexual? Actually, I think you have lost it, speveto. BTW, what did you win?
  3. Not Kirbyville. I would say Nederland has a better chance than those Mildcats.
  4. I like and really respect Gary. But I doubt very seriously that Gary would broadcast a scrimmage game no matter how you spin it into a "real" type game. Actually, Gary did broadcast a scrimmage once. It was one with game conditions against Ozen several years ago. That does suprise me. Very dedicated man is Gary. Or he had nothing else better to do that night. ;D
  5. Look at your post that I put in bold face. That should answer your question.
  6. I am ready. But please don't tell me you are going to do scrimmages too. : I know some folks around here actually view them as real games and count them as wins.
  7. I heard the scores for Silsbee-Vidor were 25-2, 25-1, 25-5, Silsbee wins. See, total domination. ;D ;D ;D (of course I could have "heard" wrong)
  8. I like and really respect Gary. But I doubt very seriously that Gary would broadcast a scrimmage game no matter how you spin it into a "real" type game.
  9. Scooter, for you I might would consider doing some LIVE updates. ;D
  10. You know there are a lot of things I should do, but broadcasting a practice game is not one of them. Maybe if the price is right. ;D
  11. Maybe I should broadcast it then. :
  12. Don't kid yourself, skip.
  13. BTW, other than Silsbee's own scrimmage that will take place earlier that day, this is the only scrimmage that I would even consider attending that day. Two very good, high quality teams to go watch practice against each other.
  14. You have got to be kidding. As big a stadium as D.R. Hooks Stadium is, it will not be standing room only for just a SCRIMMAGE. I have been to a few REAL games there at WOS in the last few years(not just when Silsbee played there) and I haven't seen a standing room only crowd there yet. It will be a nice scrimmage with a nice crowd, one that I will be attending, but not standing room only.
  15. Glad you love it JB. I love it to. Again never did I say the other guys were hindered because of technology. I simply stated that the Fred Funks of the world benefit much more from the technology than the Tiger Woods of the world. Good news is you have an opinion and so do I and they both are very valid. You get offended easily and I am sorry about that. Hope to see you on the course one day! Hey, sounds like the start of a challenge. Skins game anyone?
  16. It's all about perspective. Courses are so much longer these days than they were back in Jack's days. It all evens out.
  17. I totally understand that sentiment.
  18. Don't waist your time answering speveto Aggie. No matter what you say he is going to say the opposite. Ignore, Ignore Ignore. I agree. Just don't like having words put in my mouth.
  19. I don't ever recall saying that winning a district championship was not that big a deal. All championships are important, including district titles.
  20. I think we were lucky to get out of there with a win and I'm sure most will agree with that.Silsbee always plays us tuff and are always in the game at the end.I see no reason that will change this year.Matter of fact they came so close to beating the mighty Stangs they really beleive...so buckle up the chin straps,it's going to be a war again. Great post. I could not agree any more. This should be a dandy.
  21. Nah, Chapel Hill will be there along with Jasper.
  22. Hey CATMAN, has things lined out over there at Big Sandy? I know Coach Foster had to deal with some discipline issues with a few players last year.
  23. Not according to these projections. I think you are hoping Gilmer and Carthage do make Div. I as much as I hope they don't. ;D
  24. According to these projections, Silsbee has a great shot of making the state semi-finals. With no Gilmer or Carthage in Div. I, Silsbee is ranked higher than any other Div. I team that is projected to make the playoffs in Region III. Very interesting..... Of course I am getting WAYYYYYYY ahead of myself.
