They do have a couple of bigs in '6"5 Woodson and '6"4 Anderson, with Anderson being the better player, averages 12 points and 8 boards. Hardy, the two guard, is the player for that team, averaging 16 points a game. If Central keeps that defensive intensity up like they have shown lately, I expect the Jaguars to beat CE King.

Nederland has played the limit of 21 games, therefore they cannot play a warm up game and the reason why Coach English wanted to play the seed game.

WOS vs. Orangefield now being played Friday at PNG 7pm. The winner will play Hamshire-Fannett Saturday at a site and time to be determined. The game is not set to be played at East Chambers Saturday.

A little more info courtesy of Smoaky: The East Texas Playoff Preview is Set for the S.E.C.- 3rd Edition Some of the best boys basketball programs in East Texas are set to descend upon the Tenaha Special Events Center this Saturday as a part of one of the largest Playoff Previews in the state. Spread around three playing sites and sponsored by East Texas Jet Support Services, the East Texas Playoff Preview should give fans a taste of the great playoff action they are set to enjoy in the coming weeks. Just the Tenaha site features ½ of last year’s Class A- Region III Regional Tournament, a top 10 program from Class A-II, three 3A powerhouses that include a one-loss Pleasant Grove, #5 Silsbee, and perennial playoff contender Pittsburg, and one of 2A’s most prolific programs in Frankston. Teams from classes 1A to 3A are slated to play here in Tenaha. Below is the rundown of matchups: 3:00 Gary (1A-I) vs. West Sabine (1A DI) 4:30 Pleasant Grove (3A) vs. Silsbee (3A) 6:00 Grapeland (1A-I) vs. Wells (1A-II) 7:30 Tenaha (1A-I) vs. Pittsburg (3A) Proceeds for this event are raised to provide scholarship opportunities to high school students. Admission prices are $7 for adults. No passes will be accepted. Tenaha ISD would like to also announce that in conjunction with this event, the Tiger Café will be open from 4:00-8:00PM. On the menu, will be Cajun Fried Catfish, Boiled Shrimp, or Chicken Fried Steak along with a Baked Potato or French Fries, coleslaw, and iced tea.
