These are the enrollment numbers for the HISD 4A schools in the last realignment (per UIL): 21-4A Austin          1904 Reagan        1842 Waltrip        1789 Davis          1563 Sharpstown  1239 Yates          1209 Sterling        1103 22-4A Wheatley          1101 Worthing          1013 Washington        946 Furr                  865 Scarborough      733 Jones                686 Kashmere          596 Washington, Furr, Scarborough, Jones and Kashmere have had 3A numbers for the past several years. Sterling, Wheatley and Worthing would be the next likely schools to drop to 3A.

BTW, who do you men by THEY when you state "they failed to count those Communication numbers who live outside the zone"? The snapshot number is how many students are enrolled in said high school, all campuses. Not how many students live within the school zone.

Went to Silsbee's intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday. WOW!!!!!!! Silsbee is the best team I have seen all year so far! They are my #1 team!

I still say Yates will end up with 4A numbers. Last realignment they had over 1200 students and cutoff for 3A was at 990. Just don't see them dropping more than 210 students in just 2 years. But, it's possible.

Attended the game. Lamar played well, need to keep it up. Good crowd, over 3000. Not sure I like these afternoon games. I know Harper is suspended and Lynch flunked out, but I thought we had 13 players on the roster. There were only 10 suited out today. Who was missing and why?

According to eyewitness accounts from both sides, this was totally unnecessary. The thing is, both teams only have 8 players on varsity. So, in regards to putting reserves in and pulling starters, Goodrich had to leave 2 starters in. Now, what is very questionable about the game was how the 2nd half was played by Goodrich. Totally unnecessary and that came from a Goodrich supporter. Just a shame things get this way. What comes around goes around but you still have to show some respect and not kick a team when it is that down.
