[/quote] I know it is very silly to try to speak for any coach, but given that type of situation, I would think the majority of "just" basketball coaches would make that move to be a 5A AD and get paid that kind of salary. Remember, this salary will have a lot to do with Boutte's retirement pay. ;)

I think getting paid 6 figures and being the AD at a 5A school had more to do with Boutte leaving Ozen than the lack of talent. ;)

If 20-4A changes to a 7 team district rather than the 8 they have now, this would force 6 of the 7 teams to have their bye week during district play. All of the teams would have 4 non district games (week 0-week 3), then 1 team would have their bye week in week 4 (first week of district play), 1 team would have their bye week in week 5 (2nd week of district play) and so on and so on until week 10 where a team will have their bye week. So, only one team would have a similar type schedule as they have had the last few years (non district games, a bye week, then district games) where as 5 teams would have a schedule of non district games, district games with a bye week in between somewhere. Then one team will have a schedule of non district games, then all of their district games, then their bye week in week 10.

[/quote] My point is that everyone has an opinion(including you and I) on subjects that we do not have vast knowledge and experience on. It may seem funny to you but it is no different than you and me having a discussion on who we think is the better player in the NFL or college football, where I know both of us have never played.
