I agree. Very temporary. United will be back in 6A next realignment. It's still hard to fathom that United basically lost a 3A school in enrollment in 1 year.

That's right. Splendora not Big Sandy.

Wasn't the same week. Ned tourney was week before HJ tourney. Anahuac tourney was same week as HJ. Lumberton played Big Sandy, HJ and Woodville tourney's last year. Played Nederland, Anahuac and Woodville tourneys this year.

Anyone have any results for these games?

McCain, Adams and Bush played 7th grade together. Bush played 8th at Legacy.

That's what concerns me with Lumberton. They only played 6 and that 6th man only played about 2 minutes in 2nd half (played some in 1st half). In fact, Lumberton did not make a substitution until the 5 minute mark of the 4th Q in 2nd half. This will probably cost the Raiders some wins.

I think his post was to correct me. I thought Silsbee only had two freshmen on varsity, not four. I stand corrected. Nothing really to do with BC. I would say the best two players are seniors (Bush, Martin). I do agree that next year will be the year to "get" Silsbee. But I did notice that Silsbee JV did beat BC JV by 40.

Need scores from these games played last night: Sweeny vs. Tarkington Goodrich at Brookeland Zavalla at Spurger

Hull-Daisetta canceled.

West Sabine 41 Deweyville 59

Been on here for years.

Here are my rankings for Jan. 5 6A-4A 1. North Shore 2. United 3. PA Memorial 4. West Brook 5. Lufkin Hudson 6. Silsbee 7. Nederland 8. Hardin-Jefferson 9. Huffman 10. Crosby 11. Jasper 12. Lumberton 13. Texas City 14. Hamshire-Fannett 15. Goose Creek Memorial 3A-Private 1. Shelbyville 2. Tenaha 3. Coldspring 4. Leggett 5. Big Sandy 6. Garrison 7. East Chambers 8. Diboll 9. San Augustine 10. Hemphill 11. Hempstead 12. Anderson-Shiro 13. Buna 14. West Hardin 15. Anahuac

With the 4 freshmen that are already playing varsity (2 starters), I can see this groups soph. and junior years to be very prosperous.

Corrigan-Camden 59 Hemphill 80 Newton 44 Woodville 48

No. He was coaching at Silsbee. It was 1989.

Final Rusk 23 Lufkin Hudson 66

A bit of a shocking score Final Woden 40 San Augustine 38

100% agree.

I agree that skill wise and size he should be top 5 in district. He should lead Lumberton in scoring every single game. I saw Lumberton play a few games last year and around 4-5 games this year. Coach Mitchel has to constantly get own him about effort. I will say that the last two games I have watched he has definitely improved in the effort department.

Plays too lazy too many times
